1 Rolls - Red Gaffer/Duct Tape Size : 48mm x 50m. Strong Waterproof Cloth Book Binding Tape

Just looks nicer than the silver stuff in public areas.I even used it to patch up a £35 red mop bucket (part of a super set) which had an awkward melt hole.Successful so far.

Does what it says on the tin. It's sticky. It's tape and it's red. Everything I wanted.

Nowhere near 50m as you could clearly see when put next to a genuine 50m roll. Seems to work as it should for job I need it for though. But still, it's unfair it's advertised as 50m when it clearly isn't.

It’s sticky

For the past few years I have been getting 3M (50M) duct tape from Lidl which is excellent.Unfortunately shop keepers know this as well and since Lidl have no limits it gets bulk bought.So needing some coloured tape quickly to indicate the presence of wiring behind plaster board and finding Lidl OOS I turned to Amazon.This tape is reviewed over more than 1 listing as usual 1-5 stars but as I only needed it to stick on a wall which was then going to be covered over I bought despite the 1 star reviews.The tape was delivered in the sort of box usually used for the likes of DVDs which was open at one end so lucky not to have been lost - poor show for Amazon there.First thing I noticed was the Tape is very shiny and very thin.I would not use the word "cloth" in a description of this tape.The tape is just normal parcel tape with a mesh of thin threads on one side.I found it impossible to tear off a piece in a straight line by hand .Depending on what you need to use it for having to cut using scissors especially if you are in a confined space would be difficult.Adhesion is not great but not poor either - On plaster board it stayed in place but would not trust it to stay there indefinitely but as I said it was going to be covered over .Roll does look like it has 50m on it although it can be squeezed down a bit suggesting it is quite losing wound.For parcel wrapping this would be perfectly acceptable just not at £6+ per roll.Pictures show a comparison with Lidl 3M duct tape.Not brilliant but not rubbish either - 3 stars.

I am truly disappointed in this item. I needed to send a big parcel and I had to wrap it up safely and securely.This is a very thin tape and breaks so easily. I didn’t even need scissors to cut the end because I could just tear it with my own hands. I needed to use three times the amount of this tape. I used to use another brand but I needed the tape quickly , I didn’t have time to go to shops so I ordered it quickly. I would not buy it again.
