I saw this at Ashley Home Store for $400+. Decided not to buy it. Then I saw it here on Amazon for $299. Really glad I didn't buy it at Ashley. I saved $100 purchasing it from Amazon. It's very heavy so dragging it to my living room was a bit of a task but once I got it out of the box, it was SUPER easy to put together. Took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. My friend complimented how nice it looks when she came over and saw it.

I am so happy with this coffee table. The wood finish is beautiful and has a soft, rustic farmhouse look that works perfectly in my living room. It feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy at all. I love the turned legs and the lower shelf because it adds so much character and also gives extra storage. It looks even better in person and really ties the room together. I would definitely recommend this if you like a cozy, cottage or farmhouse style.

So, first - made in Vietnam. But, not bad even so. Second, the drawer locations make it difficult to get to the screws holding the legs. I would also suggest using gloves since you're going to need to get them tight with the hex (allen) wrench they provide inside the hardware pouch - as a plus, it has a wobble tip on the long end which helps when tightening. (A better solution would be a long allen to a drill - its a 4mm - you might get a 5/32" SAE to work.) And have someone with small hands help you. - If they had made the top part just a little thicker/taller it would have provided just a little more room to get your hand in there. - Now all that said, packaging was excellent - double cardboard on the outside with lots of Styrofoam packing inside. And it is all solid wood - no fiber boards. The hardware bag is clearly marked and attached to the box so you can't miss it. The drawer handles are even attached to the inside of the drawers for shipping and there's a ribbon tied to one of the two screws on each to pull the drawers out. The screws that hold the legs on have thread locking compound on them. No instructions but assembly should be obvious. I paid $250.00 which was a fair value, I would say.

This coffee table reads as a gray white, not a warm white. I love that it took less than 20 minutes to assemble and is VERY sturdy! I like having a lower shelf for putting things that might read as clutter but still easy to reach. The drawers are very handy for stowing remotes, magnifier glasses, etc for those things you want to put away but have easy access to. I was not bothered by the purposeful nail holes that add to the rustic vibe. I use a feather duster to clean so easy.
