French Books for Kids Vol. 2: Musical French Baby Book Learning Toys w/ English, Lulu Learns French, Bilingual Language Interactive Toy for Toddlers, Babies, Boys, Girls & Children

This is my first time ever writing an Amazon review. Just wanted come up here and recommend these series in general! We are a bilingual (or trilingual) family (korean) and I loved, loved the Baby Shark Pink Fong song books. Since she was a baby, it was just so easy to listen and press once she was able to. I'm sure you heard of that Yoto player? honestly, you don't really need such an expensive tool. You just buy them these song books and it's more than enough to engage with them through reading and listening.Then came these french song books. She started at French daycares so I got the Lulu learns French the second edition. And just like the Pinkfong song books, it is so easy to engage. Now we have our second who also goes to same daycare now and my first sort of fell off the french bandwagon since she was just going to regular preschools. My second was pressing this song book in the room and i suddenly hear my first singing along the french song right in front of me as she was doing some drawing on the table. I took a video of her doing it as it was quite shocking to me that she still remembered some french and had the capacity to sing along quite well.I don't expect fluent third language speaking through just listening to songs of course. But at this age, every little thing stimulates the brain and especially if it isn't spoken at home, all the more help is great and necessary. Can't recommend these books enough. Repetition is key and till this day, they engage with these books when they're just roaming around since it's a familiar sound and i think that's all you need to get them more stimulated to learn on their own in the future if they so happen to want to continue throughout their teen years at school or something. Just for the sake of learning i think these are great.

This was the best purchase I have made for my son.I got the recommendation from a mom on TikTok, I believe her name is Hilary Wilchin.My husband is French, but my French is very basic and I was worried about not being able to reinforce the language at home as I am the one with him during the day while I am still on maternity leave.These books have created a vast repertoire of beautiful French songs that we both sing to him regularly and have been doing so since was a few weeks old. He is 4 months old now and he recognises the songs and loves them. He looks for the books, turns the pages and presses the buttons. We sing them during play time, bath time, bed time, etc.The books are excellent quality. The music is well-produced. The singer pronounces all of the words very clearly. The melodies are easy to catch.I highly recommend these books for parents looking for help with teaching their child a second language.

Purchased this as a gift for a friend's daughter and she dropped what she was playing to listen to Lulu sing lullabies in French. The illustrations of Lulu are bright and colorful and the music and singing is great! In a world filled with digital distractions, this book really helps engage kids to read and listen again!

I sparked my daughter's interest in learning a new language with this simple, yet entertaining and engaging book! It's a great tool for introducing French to a reluctant or intimidated learner.
