I love it
It is incredibly expensive for what it is, but it is the best leather product I have bought.. ever.I've had countless leather protectors for kindles, phones etc before, and they all feel a bit plasticy. This is without a doubt genuine nubuck leather through and through. It smells amazing, it patinas...It feels nice and soft in the hand and on the screen, is nice and water resistant. Basically, if you can afford it, buy it!

Gorgeous case
This case looks, smells and feels beautiful. I have had a similar walnut colour case for my oasis for the last 5 years and it has weathered beautifully. Scratches, and oils over time only improve the look and feel. The leather really is premium but do not buy if marks and patina will bother you as this kind of leather purposely marks very easily.

Very poor Quality and terible value for money
The only thing that I liked about this product was the description; premium leather.I was disappointed the moment I opened the packaging. The term 'Premium Leather' is visualised as a nice thick, hard-wearing material that should last for years and age gracefully. The reality is that the leather, which is layered over a hard board, is unbelievably thin; less than 1 mm I would think. Secondly, I hadn't owned the case more than a few minutes before I noticed scratches on the surface of the leather. These, I soon realised had been caused when I accidentally passed my fingernail over the surface; not the sharp edge of my fingernail, the back of it. These scratches were not areas where nap of the leather had been simply biased differently to the rest. The scratches could not be buffed out by rubbing with the finger tip. This product would be poor a £6. It's appalling at nearly 10 times that price.

Worth the money
I know some people say that this is overpriced but it's so well-made and attractive that I think it's worth every penny. I was worried that it would add too much weight to the device but I didn't really notice any difference. It definitely elevates the Kindle.

Excellent fit for Colorsoft Kindle.
Slight marks which easily occur on the suede-like finish of the leather, can be eased away by gently brushing the surface on some fabric. I use nubuck/suede protector to minimise scratches etc. Would recommend. Slim fit, doesn't add much at all to the weight profile. Will keep it in a sleeve, when I need to carry the Colorsoft (which is fab!) in my bag.

Nice case but marks very easy
This is a lovely case which it should be at the premium price of nearly £60. You can smell the leather and it has a nice soft feel to it. I have knocked it down a stars because of the small v shaped scratch mark straight out the box and how easily marked it gets. I know it will get them over time and will get the patina as time goes on but for the price I paid, I would have liked it to have no marks or scratches on arrival. I would have sent it back but brought it to protect my new kindle colour soft and I am assuming the replacement will probably also have the same issues. I think it’s a nice case but the price is a little high for what you get and only time will tell if it will hold up or look a mess is a few months time. The previous leather kindle case seemed more hard wearing and was £20 cheaper than this version. Time will tell if I will find it better than that one or not. After now using it for a few days I can say that even being very careful there is a lot more marks on it but the older ones seem to fade the more you use the case. I still think it’s a very nice case but would be happier with it if it was priced £40-£50

Great cover
The previous generation leather kindle case was a bit plastic feeling. Not this - this feels like good leather. Other comments mention scratches - which is sort of the point of this. It’s a soft leather, not quite a suede but not smooth finished like a patent leather. I think the point is that it’s meant to develop a unique patina with use. Gorgeous burgundy colour too.

Nice Quality, but expensive and marks easily...
Actually a very nice cover, leather feels decent quality. But. It's an unsealed, suede like texture which scratches and marks very easily, just from everyday use and being carried in a bag. Luckily, using a leather wipe removes these easily, as well as caring for the leather (see before & after pics). I do find myself having to do this every couple of days. It's also really rather too expensive for what it is.
