They do exactly as they should though a spoon stye bombilla is best if you drink finer Uruguayan cut tea. These are well crafted and seem like they'll last forever.

Out of the dozen or so bombillas I own, the CORSARIO set is by far the best! The build quality is exceptional—these stainless steel straws feel sturdy and well-made compared to others I’ve tried. The removable head filter is a game-changer; it does an excellent job of filtering out most yerba mate leaves and stems, and cleaning them is a breeze thanks to the twist-off design. The included cleaning brush is a nice bonus, making maintenance even easier.The only minor drawback is that these bombillas aren’t ideal for very fine mate or yerba mate with lots of powder. The fine filter holes can clog, which might require more frequent cleaning during a session.Still, for regular yerba mate, these are unbeatable. If you’re looking for high-quality bombillas that are functional, durable, and easy to clean, I highly recommend this set!

These yerba mate bombilla straws looked promising with their elegant design and well-crafted shape, but unfortunately, they fall short in functionality. The slits at the bottom, meant to filter out leaves, are too large, allowing bits to come through. This affects the drinking experience and diminishes the taste. While the silver and gold colors are nice-looking, the ends are easy to remove and clean, and the straw itself feels solid, the design flaw makes it hard to justify the price. They are easy to use, but for something this expensive, I expected better performance. I wouldn’t recommend them.

We were looking for metal straws that were not 10”-12” tall and chose these. After really investigating what this type of straw is, I was psyched because I drink a lot of teas with leaves and pulpy ingredients.There are instructions saying to boil them before using, so I did. I assume it is giving it a deep cleaning. I used it with just water to see how well it works before anything else was added. Now I have never had the drink inwhich is described in the title and description so I can not say how well or not well it works for that. I used it for a pulpy tea I make with ginger, turmeric, and a few other items. There is always that something extra I hate to swallow. This straw did keep that out but I am thinking because it did not have the texture of a leaf it simply blocked any liquid from going through. It comes with a brush making cleaning a breeze. Overall it is a decent straw and getting two is even better.

The design on this is really good. This was my first forray into yerba and for a beginner this bombilla was good. I think it would make for a great gift because the design and everything that came with it was elegant. The straws themselves though were a little dusty but all things should be washed first before use anyway - that was only a minor drawback as everything probably needs a quick wash before use. This straw makes it easy because the bottom unscrews to make it easy to clean out

This is my review of the CORSARIO [NEW] Set of 2 Premium - Stainless steel straws - Bombillas for yerba mate.As someone who drinks mate on a daily basis, I like having an extra pair of straws so that I can keep one with my travel set and one at home. The bottom of these unscrews so you can clean the straw out inside. There were two bombillas in the box and a one straw cleaner. They are also nicely packaged and would make for a great gift. My only tiny disappointment is that the bristles on the brush started falling off, but since I have another straw cleaning brush, this wasn't a big deal to me, hence why I'm keeping the 5 stars. Very pleased with this product and definitely recommend. Will post an updated review if anything changes.I received this item for being a Vine member and this is my unbiased review.

I love these bombilla. They’re 10x easier to clean than the common ones with a flat disk on the end. The material has a substantial weight to it. The pieces screw together smoothly. The length is nice. They’re the perfect size for my various gourds — insulated stainless steel, glass, ceramic.The materials feel high-end. They even included a premium cleaning brush made with natural boar bristles. It shows a pride in the craftsmanship.I highly recommend.
