The material is good, just make sure you buy it ahead of time since you have to leave it folded for a few days so that it fits your child's ankle. The straps are a little long but I think that just cutting them can fix it. Good for a 10-year-old youth.

Wearing protective gear on your feet generally feels uncomfortable and makes it less easy to move around, but I was pleasantly surprised by these leg guards, I was able to be flexible enough to play baseball with them on, and it was a good defence against the risk of injury, I think I'll keep using them.

Great shin guards for teens
I bought this leg guard for my son who is involved in baseball training. The shell absorbs the impact effectively, so I don't have to worry about him getting hurt all the time.
