I applied this myself.I followed the instructions and got lucky that it didn't rain for 10 days.After 4 months water still beads up like new.I am very pleased with this coating.

This ceramic coating by STEK really is a decent car coating, I must admit. When applied to freshly cleaned paint job, with the included application tools, you'll get an amazing shine that should last for several months. And at the high price, it better! (I'll have to update in a few months, after it's had time in an Oregon winter)My main issue is twofold: First, after reading all of the material included in the package, it was clear that the warranty was not valid unless the product was applied by a licensed STEK dealer. I'm thinking...hmmm... that could be a problem. I did just go thru the entire page for this product on Amazon, just to be sure I didn't miss anything, and I didn't. Nowhere that I could find does it mention this on the item's sale page. If applying at home voids the warranty, that could really be a deal breaker for people. (I'm actually a Master Mechanic, certified in paint and collision, so I felt I had the 'credentials' that if I really wanted STEK to warranty the product, I may be able to, but most people wouldn't)The second issue is the price. You are going to receive a very, very small bottle of this product. Only 30ml, which, to a layperson, is going to look like a tiny amount and not enough to do an entire car. It is enough, but you have to follow the instructions carefully. At the $119 price point, you don't want to waste a drop of this stuff. And the price point basically wraps up the second part of my problem. It's very, very expensive when compared to other ceramic coatings currently on the market, for average consumers to purchase, for home application. Maybe the manufacturer should more clearly state this product is for professionals to apply, in a shop? I'm not sure. I'd just hate to see someone lay out that much cash, get their product, be shocked at small the bottle is, try to apply it, mess something up, and end up tossing $119 bucks down the drain.So, be SURE before ordering this product, that you know HOW to apply it, fully, before ordering it, so you won't be disappointed.

I put this on my wheels and it is absolutely amazing. Nothing sticks to it and they are always clean. Very easy to clean.

Quality applicator and top notch chemicals included with this kit. Follow instructions and durability will be maximum.

Just bought a 2016 F150 and wanted to protect the white paint after noticing black spots after rain showers. The 30ml bottle was enough to cover all painted surfaces, trim, and wheels. Prep took a while (I used a panel prep product after washing the car but and clay barred. I polished the paint because the truck is very high miles. Overall took about 9 hours from start of prep to end of application. Let’s just say it was a long and sweaty 9 hours in the garage but it was worth it. Haven’t seen the performance in the rain yet but the car looks amazing after curing for 12 hours, would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to keep their car looking new as long as you don’t mind a solid shift of elbow grease. The directions does say it it takes days to cure so be mindful of that. It looks great but just know you have to do a ton of prep before using this. Even if your vehicle is brand new I would still say wash/clay bar/paint prep before use. You don't want to ceramic coat dirt because it will ruin the look.

This is another quality ceramic coating for cars. It came with a whole kit including a "suede" applicator towel, sponge and microfiber cloth. If you do a good job of prepping your paint, and follow the directions, this product yields a really nice shine on the paint, that's really hydrophobic, and should last as long as competitors' products.
