This is an energy-saving model. It does not consume power in standby mode, while all other functionalities remain unaffected. You can rest assured that it operates normally during regular use.

Q: Why loose electrical outlets are a hidden fire hazard during EV charging, causing the plug and oulet to melt?

When plugs don’t fit securely and shift in the outlet, movement causes arcing, ie electricity jumps between metal contacts. This arcing creates intense heat and sparks that easily ignite dust, insulation, or nearby flammable materials.

Q: Why the cable from the box to the electrical outlet cannot designed to be longer?

The length of power cord wires should generally be kept within a reasonable range, as excessive length may lead to increased electrical resistance and heat generation, which could potentially result in safety hazards.

Q: Why do we recommend 60A circuit breakers over 50A ones?

50A circuit breaker may cause nuisance tripping since charger's built-in protective mechanism. In contrast, a 60A circuit breaker provides a higher safety margin, allowing the charger to charge more reliably under normal conditions.

Q: Why are your EV charger able to maintain their operational current 40 amp even during the hot summer?

We have implemented a uniquely optimized heat dissipation design for the PCBA, thereby effectively reducing the temperature of the core components during the charging process by 68℉-86℉. Thus the current would not automatically decrease in summer.
