These socks are very warm and appear to be made of quality materials. I bought another pair. They will be ideal for the winter or cooler weather. I think they are a good price compared to other well known waterproof socks.

These are perfect for Autumn walks with the dog.

I'd say, these are completely waterproof. I just walked in puddles that came over the top of my boots but lower then the top of my socks! My feet are completely dry. Also, the socks are nice and soft and just about the right thickness for my boots. 5 star.

Competitive price for the quality

Reading other reviews I thought these might be a problem as my skin doesn't generally like pressure - getting glasses to fit comfortably is difficult and elastic waistbands are a no. But though snug at the ankle these have been fine so far. Because of the waterproof membrane there isn't a lot of elasticity, so if your ankles are of larger girth you may find them too tight. Comfort and fit elsewhere was fine too. I tested the waterproofing by wearing them with shoes I knew leaked a little in the rain. On return the outside of the socks were damp but the inside and my feet were dry, so they seem to work. They may deserve 5* but I can't yet speak to their durability/longevity, so for now it's 4*.
