Chill Out with This Handy Insulin Cooler Case
The Aukuoy Insulin Cooler Travel Case is a solid option for anyone needing to keep their insulin at the right temperature while travelling. It’s well-designed with a real-time temperature display, so you’ll always know how cool it is inside the case, avoiding any guesswork. The inclusion of two reusable ice packs is a nice touch – just freeze them for a few hours, and they’ll keep your insulin supplies at the perfect temperature for hours on end.Made from high-quality EVA and PU materials, the outer shell is both sturdy and waterproof, providing excellent protection against the elements. The compact size (8.3 x 3.3 x 2.3 inches) means it fits easily into most bags, making it a hassle-free companion whether you’re travelling or simply heading out for the day.The case is simple to use. Just freeze the ice packs, place them inside, and pop your insulin pen in the middle section. The ice packs can be reused for a few years, so it’s good value for the money. All in all, it’s a dependable product that makes managing your insulin while on the go a bit easier. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to keep their medication cool during their travels.

Good for travel
Great for travelling & keeping your medicines all together. The ice/ cooler packs melt or warm rather quickly during the flight, so I only felt they were good for a short’ish flight (about 3-4 hours) instead of a longer haul flight. I would order again, as felt good value for money, had just hoped it stayed cooler longer.

Did not work properly
I was very disappointed with this product, I froze the ice packs over night put them in the case with empty injections to try, the thermometer registered 3.4 degrees, within an hour it had increased to 7.8 and after two hours it registered 9.6, after three hours 13.2. This was supposed to keep between 4-8 degrees for 5-8 hours, good job I tried it before we flew or I could have been in trouble. Money wasted. I’ve had to purchase another one now.

An excellent Insulin Travel Cooler case with temperature control and priced very reasonably
If you are a diabetic who injects insulin to control your sugar levels then you probably know that Insulin has to be kept at a certain temperature for it to work effectively. That's where this case with the a thermometer built in is an excellent idea, as according to that you can decide whether you need to add an ice pack or remove one, etc. This portable case comes with two reusable ice packs, allowing for effective cooling during travel. One standout feature is the temperature display, which helps monitor the internal conditions and ensures that your medication remains within the safe temperature range. The case itself is a fairly compact size and nice and lightweight, making it easy to carry on you or in a bag of some kind. It’s well made and has a tough exterior that protects against minor drops and knocks. The inside is spacious enough to hold my two insulin pens and my other diabetic supplies, such as needle tips, testing strips, lancets, etc. It even has a number of pockets inside and a couple of elastic bands for the pens, which helps keep everything organised and in it's place. With the thermometer built in it has highlighted an issue that I wasn't aware of before on my other cases - which are very similar in design but just lack the thermometer, and that is that the cooler bags just don't seem to keep the insulin inside it as cool as I thought it did and for as long as I thought it did. This has allowed me to modify it slightly so I've added more ice packs and material that can keep it cooler for longer. This has allowed me to do the same for the other cases as well so it has been a really useful feature already.Considering that I don't seem to be paying more than a couple of pounds extra for this handy temperature feature, when compared with my other cases, I would say that this is definitely worth paying those extra couple of pounds and gets a 5 star nod from me.

Good solid medicine container
This container is great for carrying medicines that normally need to be stored in the fridge. Although I don’t take insulin, I have an ongoing medication that needs to be stored in the fridge at all times. When I collect it I always have to be thinking about getting it hoem to the fridge and going away is always a concern if I have to take the medication with me.The container itself is quite large at over 8 1/4 inches (21cm) by 3 1/4 inches (8 cm). However the container is sturdy and offers quite a degree of protection to the medicines inside. Its larger size for me is a bonus as it gives more space for medicines inside. It offers a clear display on the outside , which updates in real time as the temperature changes. You get two ice packs inserts which you place in the freezer for several hours before use.I found you can get an extra bit of time for keeping the contents cool in the case by putting the case itself in the fridge whilst the ice packs are in the freezer. It was about 7 hours in total before this reached 8 degrees in a room that was 21 degrees at maximum. It does seem to keep the contents cool for quite some time though obviously during that time the temperature gradually rises in the case. I would have no issue using this for shorter journeys of up to 4 hours though, which is my main concern though will be monitoring to work out whether I would feel safe to use on longer journeys for example involving flights.Because the container is quite robust and durable, when I am staying away, I will actually use the case to store the contents in the fridge. while I am away and may actually do that for the contents at home (as the case after a few hours does reach the temneprature of the fridge and is more likely to keep contents cool in the event of a power cut, even without the ice packs.
