Simply great on product and delivery, no supermarket near me stocked it.Online from Sainsbury's is more expensive .

Nice mix of spices. Good value. Could be packaged better.

I have decided to start making chutneys again. This spice is gorgeous. But it is very strong. I put about a tablespoon in a little muslin bag and put it in the chutney mixture whilst cooking-obviously taking it out later. But i think a teaspoon would have done. Anyway, i made delicious 'spicy apple chutney', that didn't end up too strong after all.

Used for pickled eggs, onions and piccalilli. Excellent and tasty

The price was immediately competitive but the ad showed off the product well. If they arrived as advertised, what could go wrong?? Nothing. They came very quickly and when I opened the bag, the aroma was magnificent, the dried spices all good quality & at their freshest, if that makes sense? I use them to flavour cold malt vinegar for for days on end for a much admired family Piccalilli. I might tell them the secret one day. Praps. 😊

Used these a couple of months ago to prepare a dozen jars of pickled onions with. Probably as good as any I’ve bought before, and certainly good value when I bought them. I’ve sealed the unused spices in a jar for next time, as I used only a third of the pack. They’ve given a nice flavour to the picking vinegar, but I must admit to adding a dried chilli or two to a few jars to make them hotter.

I'm struggling to see how the spices are portioned out as a pickling spice. It's 95% Coriander seeds. I'm no expert, but I feel the portions are wrong. I can see why this would happen if the mix comes in a large sack and is scooped into a bag. Some people will end up with end up with completely different mixes to mine. Underwhelming smell when the bag was opened.
