Not Awful
This is a little different in taste to my usual Matcha. It almost has a metallic taste, perhaps due to the higher Magnesium levels. Perhaps it's just me, as my wife thinks it tastes just the same, describing the taste as freshly cut grass.I must admit that I'm not a massive fan, but when you have stuck to one brand for so long, a change is always going to be "different".If this is the first time you are trying Matcha tea, I'm sure you won't be disappointed, it is drinkable, mixes well and has good body and colour.

Premium quality matcha
Very smooth and rich flavour. Dissolves easily into water, perfect for traditional matcha tea or latte. Provides a nice energy boost, which I really enjoy in the mornings. I'm really glad that it also has magnesium added. Great quality matcha. Sourced from Japan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very pleased, would recommend and purchase more.

pretty good
If you’re looking for a premium matcha experience, the Imperial Ceremonial Grade Matcha Tea Powder from N2 Natural Nutrition is definitely worth considering. Sourced from the renowned Uji region in Japan, this matcha boasts a rich flavor profile and vibrant green color that signals its high quality. One of the standout features is the addition of magnesium citrate, which not only enhances the nutritional benefits but also promotes natural energy and focus. This makes it a great option if you’re seeking a boost during your day or looking for something to help you stay sharp during long tasks. At 100 grams, the packaging feels substantial, and since it’s vegan and made in the EU, it aligns well with various dietary preferences. Plus, it’s marketed as a detox superdrink, which is appealing if you’re into clean eating and wellness trends. In terms of preparation, this matcha powder mixes smoothly, allowing you to create everything from a traditional matcha tea to more innovative recipes like smoothies or even baked goods. Overall, if you're a matcha enthusiast or just curious about its health benefits, this product seems to deliver on flavor and function!

Not the best matcha, but it works for relaxation
This matcha whisks up smoothly without any bitter taste or grainy bits left at the bottom, but the taste isn't so great, I'm unsure if its for making tea or some kind of supplement. The colour is a pale green which isn't a good sign, fresh and high quality green tea is usually vibrant green. It mixes fine in hot and cold water, I tried it both for traditional matcha and in smoothies, and it's better in smoothies as it doesn't have that traditional taste or component to it.The tub keeps the powder fresh and dry, which is crucial for matcha as it can go stale quickly when exposed to air. The magnesium addition is subtle but noticeable, giving a steadier energy boost than regular matcha and helps with relaxation. The powder is fine enough that it doesn't need sifting before use and it dissolves completely in water.

Early morning energy boost without the caffeine crash
The appeal of green tea can truly capture one's attention, and this particular selection is no different. With its bright green tones, this tea has become part of my morning routine. The magnesium presence, initially intriguing, introduces a distinct aspect, providing a smooth energy boost without the typical caffeine rush. Whisking the fine powder into warm water creates a lovely froth that’s smooth and slightly sweet. I’ve also experimented with adding it to my morning smoothies for a variation, and it blends wonderfully, offering a gentle energy lift to begin the day positively. Some may find the colour and slightly powdery texture less appealing, but the flavour remains enjoyable. It’s not quite the premium quality found in superior Japanese blends, but for mixing into recipes or simply sipping, it performs well. My wife and I find it an enjoyable change from our usual morning tea.
