London Ladies 40 denier Opaque Tights

Swift delivery. Lovely stretchy tights make for a comfort fit. The colour is lovely considering the denier. Some thicker tights appear "old lady " looking. Not these. I have ordered 4 more pairs because decent 40 denier tights are as scarce as hen's teeth. I have previously purchased tights of this denier that looked good in the package and ghastly when wearing them. Had to use them under trousers. These I intend wearing with skirts and dresses. They hide a multitude of sins, ie, scars, veins.Would definitely recommend them

Warm and comfortable but I am medium size, and after reading other reviews I got the next size. I am glad I did as it fits well. . Also it doesn't slip down. I'm so glad it fits because I really don't like hassle of returning I guess if one is of petite body habitus they may be okay.PS-Dear seller, please avoid this plastic bag for packing. . It is difficult for customers to avoid being part of plastic usage, when industries use it in packages, which can easily be avoided. Thank you

I had high expectations for these after reading several good reviews. But sadly I'm so disappointed.I am 5'9, size 16 and these tights reached my knees!!I gave them to my 8 year old niece to use as school tights!If I could get away with not giving any stars then I would of. Absolutely gutted!

As other reviewers have commented, the sizing of these tights is not consistent with UK hosiery sizing. I am quite comfortable in the medium size which I would say is more of a small - being 5'2 and a size 8.That aside, the tights are a lovely fit and better quality than I had expected for the price. The opacity is good, giving a nice colour which in the navy is on the darker side. There is a feeling of a quality pair of tights. They fit nicely around the waist and body, the waist band is comfortable and there is no bagging.Would order again. Recommended.

Lovely quality, fit well but just not true to size. I bought my regular size L but these didn't have quite enough stretch around the waist area. I went via the size chart like other brands but this 1 I found weren't true to size. I've ordered XL to see if a better fit. The tights are super quality for the price apart from fit. I'd say check and think about going up a size. I'm 5ft 2.

I ordered these because they were the top result for "opaque navy tights" but these are not opaque. You can quite clearly see the skin colour shine through. I added an example image of how it appears on my legs.

I'll be honest up front and tell you that I did order these by mistake after not double-checking the amazon filtered results when I searched for maternity tights. These are definitely NOT maternity tights and to be fair, it doesn't say they are anywhere in the listing. That's my mistake.However, these tights do come up considerably smaller than expected when compared to the measurements listed. They are impossibly short so I will be giving them to my 10 year-old niece. There is just no way they'll ever fit a grown adult of the size listed!

These are some of the best tights I've ever worn. They are incredibly comfortable and they are very long which is so rare to find (I'm 5'10 & the struggle is real). These laddered near the waist seam the first time I put them on which was really disappointing but they're so comfortable and I'm going to just try to be extra careful and hope for the best.Also, it's worth noting that I think the colour is more of a purple hue than a maroon!
