Works very well for my office. Adjustment work flawlessly and the light is warm, not "LED bright" like you may expect. Very easy to assemble and sturdy. This was a very good purchase at a fair price point.I would recommend to others.

Ye Old Halogen lamp died and finding exact replacement, or even incandescent 3-way bulb for use in another old lamp, seemed impossible. (Though I eventually found the 3-way incandescent bulbs on Amazon, they aren’t bright or luminescent enough, reviewed elsewhere.) This Boost Area Floor Lamp 20W 2000LM LED Torchiere Floor Lamp Dimmable 3000K has a touch sensitive control without state memory or a good old fashioned mechanical switch. That is, turning off the light at the outlet switch when leaving the room means it will not turn on when outlet switch is again activated. Instead, I must walk across the room in the dark to turn on the light at the post mounted touch button—no thanks. Perhaps I’ll find another use for this lamp and won’t return it.Be aware, too, that the dimmer control is temperamental—another reason I advise avoiding the touch-controlled version.Even if I keep it, it has pleasant but clearly less bright light than the halogen it replaces. Perhaps I should have ordered the 11” lamp head instead of the 10” that seemed to fit my space better. Of course, if each design features the same circular LED panel, there would be no difference in output.Also, the lamp post is far less substantial than the old halogen post but an LED needs less support anyway. Still, I wouldn’t place this on a thick carpet or where pets play or children crawl. Safely placed behind a dresser or in an office setting is a better use.But there is a potential downside to the LED design. The circular “panel of tiny LED lights” is permanent—when it dies the whole lamp goes in the trash. This is an odd design for a company claiming LED as the environmental choice.UPDATE: I moved this to a lower level office without a large, obstructing bed. In this smaller 13 x 9’ space the illumination is brilliant. Also I’ve learned to control the dimming feature satisfactorily. As long as I don’t need to turn this on at a wall switch, it’s a happy keeper. I’ve not added any stars because I’m still disappointed that the “bulb” (really a light assembly) isn’t replaceable.

This was perfect as extra lighting. Each light functions independently, no need to have all or none on. I use it for reading and it’s spot on.Sleek modern design. I could have purchased a similar design that might have been more substantial, but I went for this for the low price and am glad I did.Assembly took minutes. Weekly dusting to keep looking good. Read dimensions, it is fairly short. Each light adjusts independently.I’d buy it again.

i use this lamp

In looking for a 3 fixture pole lamp at a number of local vendors they were either flimsy and poor quality or priced beyond what I was willing to spend. Went to Amazon and found this lamp for $50 figuring if it didn't work out I could always return it.Delivery was in a matter of days. Took less than 5 minutes to assemble, less time than it took to remove lamp from the box. It was well packed so no damage in transit. Once assembled I realized that the base was heavier than my 10 - 15 year old lamp that had died.The only glitch was I expected to receive 3 light bulbs with the lamp. When I looked for them, not there. Emailed manufacturer and within less than 24 hours had a response. They pointed out that in the verbage on Amazon they indicated no bulbs and had reduced the price from $69.99 to their sale price of $49.99. I checked and had just overlooked their verbage about no bulbs. My error.Even at the $70 price and no light bulbs I would have kept the lamp.

The lamp needs a larger heavier base, it's unstable on carpet. I wish it was dimmable as it is either bright or off... I should have returned it and continued looking, my fault... Live and learn?
