Previous photocells have "flickered" on/off, seem to kill bulbs. Does this have a delay or on/off bias to prevent that?

strobbing is usually because the photo cell sees the light source that it is controlling. try building a tape mask with black electrical tape as a test. If that works then find a permanent solution to the light being controlled not shining into photocell. Other light sources can cause this too. I once found that there was a snow mobile trail behind the building. the headlights from the snow mobiles would cause the store lights to go out.

My sesnor always keep my light on even into the daylight. I need sesnors allows allot of light in so it turns off in low lit areas will this work?

Either the sensor is unable to get enough light to shut off (by shading, dirt or other block) or the sensor is defective.

how many lights this unit can control? I have 7 posts but only one turns on from dusk to down since I replaced the sensor with the same specifications

I will control all lights in the circuit that are. connected to the switched lead of the sensor up to 1800 watts. From the description of your problem I suspect that you connect the all the lights across the red and white leads and the supply between the black and white.

Will this work for solar lights?

To be truthful ... most solar lights are automatically turned on when it gets dark, and off when it gets light. Some solar lights have a separate on-off switch, but when you turn it off it will neither charge the internal battery or will it light up at all. Can't imagine how a solar light could even function with a separate on-off control: if the separate photocell could turn off the light, it would also turn off the charging system, thus NO POWER SOURCE and NO LIGHT.
