Absolutely useless, worked for literally 2 mins, then main circuit breaker in the house tripped (fuse didn’t blow in the items plug !) and then never worked again even though the power light is on no heat output. At least I have the accessory rods and mesh and I will use the flat welding tip with a good quality soldering iron

Extremely bad product that did not work. It short circuited in the house meaning it switched off everything else and the fuse blew up. Awful purchase

The soldering iron failed after less than 5 mins, would not heat up. Spare element supplied but impossible to fit. Regardless of that, the first element should last longer than <5 mins use.
