The Mafex Scarlet Spider figure doesn't necessarily NEED any upgrading to be a great figure but I always pictured the character with the tattered hoodie and larger spider emblem across the chest. This custom hooded vest adds the one accessory needed to make it a perfect Scarlet Spider figure. The material is thinner than Mafex's standard hooded vest but the color and texture are almost an exact match. The rim of the hood has wire in it, just like the Mafex hood, so it can easily hold up or down depending on how you want to display it. The Mafex hood is pretty snug on the figure so it was harder to get the Mafex hood off than it was to get this new hood onto to figure. It fits great. If you have the Mafex Scarlet Spider and want to be able to swap hoods for that grungier tattered look then this custom hooded vest is a must buy. The material is a bit thin but it feels well made and looks great on the figure.

The quality of the hoodie was very cheap. The string came out the next day. Will definitely be returning.

The fabric is elastic and I had no problem putting it on the figure. I got the ripped version and the small details are a nice touch. It honestly makes the marvel legends version feel like an imported figure. Overall, I would recommend it if you already own a Scarlet Spider figure.
