This pack of three Merino mix socks are supplied in a sealed plastic bag.Out of the bag, these 50% Merino Wool, 30% Nylon, 17% Acrylic and 3% Elastane socks look well made and feel padded but a little rough. However, not rough as in 'not well made' but rough as in 'robust' or 'durable'.When worn, they immediately feel warm on my size 9 foot and they fit like a glove...They are stretchy but perhaps don't feel as padded on the foot as they do to the hand straight out the bag. So far, having worn them, they have stayed up and, more importantly, haven't done that thing where the sole tries to rotate 180deg on your foot while being worn.I personally wouldn't describe them as 'extra thick' but they are certainly comfortable enough and at £4.33 a pair are good value for money.

With the colder months coming on I wanted some warmer socks to wear with my walking boots.They arrived vauum packed and puffed up a little after releasing the vacuum.They are reasonably thick but not so much that I can't get my boots on.Walking in them on the cooler mornings we have been having they certainly keep my feet warm but not so much that they make my feet sweat more.The socks are well made and in my opinion reasonable value.

These socks are really very nice, the fit is great on my size 9 feet. (9-12 ordered). The socks are comfy and have quite nice padding, whilst not as padded as more mainstream brand walking socks, the would be fine for short to medium walks (4-10 mile). I have work them for a couple of days now and have not experienced any problems. They are very good value compared to 'Smartwool' merino socks, not quite as premium but still very good value.

These are good everyday socks, very comfortable to wear and do keep my feet at a nice warmth level. I had expected them to be a bit on the thicker side though and more heavy duty. My partner had wanted to use them as work socks, but they aren't really built for that and I don't think they would last very long in that situation.As socks for me to wear during the colder months though, they are perfectly adequate, but I have had better ones.

The sizing guide on the listing is appropriate for mens sizes. I like the discrete colours, ideal for autumn and winter. The care label shows 50% Merino Wool which matches the listing, the balance being various synthetic fibres. I will have cosy feet this year. Recommended with five stars.The price at the time of review was around £13 which is fair value for money.

I have got true merino wool socks, and they are thick and completely different. This is something else, and I don't think it's Merino wool at all.I think this is false advertising I will be honest, this feels just like a normal sock from the supermarket, with a slight extra layer of thickness. They are nice to look at, and good colours, no stray fibres, nice and warm as well, but I can't justify being called Merino wool when it's not Merino wool

I ordered these socks for my husband to wear, he often works outdoors, and I was hoping they would keep his feet warm, whilst also being comfortable.The socks arrive in a pack of three assorted colours, I chose size 9-12, and as he has a size 9.5 foot they fit him very comfortably, so I think the size options are quite accurate.The socks are a mix of fibres, but also contain 50% wool, this has the result of making them soft, comfortable and warm, which was exactly what I was hoping they would be.Overall they are lovely socks, they seem well made, they are a good fit, not too tight around the ankles, soft, warm and very comfortable, and I'm happy to recommend them.

This is a pack of three pairs of men’s socks. They are 50% wool, with the rest being synthetic.My husband wears this type of sock in the winter under boots, and the greater the natural fibre content the better. I got these for him to try under his work boots as they look very similar to others that he has that he loves.They fit well, and are decently thick, comfortable and warm. He likes the muted colours, and it’s easier for me when washing to get them back into matching pairs!They look good, feel comfy for him, and if they last as long as the similar ones he’s been wearing, I’ll be happy.
