One broke already. It does not clamp evenly so there's zero precision.

We bought two of these to give my little grandsons (10 and 5) as their "cordless drills"). They appear to be pretty heavy duty and should stand up to hard use.

Added to my toolbox as use for emergencies when power is out. Looks decent, handle has a good fit in my hand, seems pretty good value for the money.

I may be a nerd for these human powered tools. To be honest, sometimes the power drill isn't really necessary when you can power it yourself. Also, as an emergency item, this is a sure bet. I understand there are adapters to use your hex bits with, and I am going on the hunt for that next plus a set of augers. These screw down to clamp the bits in place just like a power tool, so no key needed. These turn smoothly with good clean threads. These were a great price for two. And you know you really need more than one so you don't need to change out the bit as often. The palm piece is a nice coated wood, and it turns smoothly. You can change that out if it wears, it looks like, as it has three screws that attach that piece.

Perhaps I just need to alter my technique when trying auger bits. The problem is that it doesn't want to securely hold the auger bits and allows them to slip up into the tool, rendering it to be useless. No matter how much I tighten it, after a few seconds of turning the auger bits (all sizes that I've used) slip up out of the "fingers". I don't know what change I can make in drilling technique as there are only so many ways to do things. In theory, this should work just fine. In practice, it does not. Currently, I would not order these again, but would go with a more expensive, higher quality tool with definite better gripping power.
