Absolutely beautiful love it took chance on this and was pleasantly surprised love it plan on getting more . I use mine as decoration on my kitchen chair. It does seem nice for blanket but I don't use mine for that. Just for looks mainly

This is a really special, fancy throw blanket, with a brocade damask pattern on one side, burgundy velvet on the other, and edges trimmed with cord or fringes. I wouldn't use this throw for lounging on the sofa watching TV or use it for naps. It's more decorative. I don't really like that the two sides (brocade and velvet) are not attached in any way except at the edges , which can make the whole thing balloon out funny if you hold it wrong. I plan to use this to lay over the cushions on my (old) couch. It should be okay for sitting on, and the color / pattern matches with some tapestry pennants I have. This is not an everyday use item, so consider carefully if it will meet your needs before you buy. But if this does seem like something that would work for your intended purpose or decor, it's really nice!

It is truly a decorative blanket - Do not expect a cozy, soft, cuddly blanket that you can wrap around you. Because of how this is made, it is a bit stiff, but it is a great throw for decorating a bed or a couch.This throw will add a touch of luxury to your room with its deep blacks and bright golds.
