I've been using the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Stick for a while now, and I can't imagine going out without it. This convenient stick sunscreen provides excellent sun protection without leaving behind a greasy or sticky residue. One of the things I love most about this product is the way it sits on my skin. This might work as a sunscreen, but it totally dries out my skin. I wondered why my skin was getting even drier than normal and realized it was this dry sunscreen. I’m 70 years old and don’t need drier skin than I already have! When I ordered it, I thought I was ordering the liquid. My mistake!

Spreads so easy - the big deodorant dispenser looks weird but it takes fewer swipes. Is soft and you can see where you applied. Must rub it in though. Dries down matte - excellent formula. Spreads easily and sets very quickly. Blurring effect is nice on my old wrinkled face. Not drying or tightening of skin feeling - comfortable and never heavy or tacky unless it’s more than 2 reapplications. Gets too white too. Slight cast but a LOT less than others. It takes more than 2 layers on me (Mac NC 20-25) I think this one is it. Not hard and chalky, agreeable haze but the finish is dry and pores are smoothed over. If they ever made a tinted stick like this I’d feel like I’ve won the lottery

At last, my quest for the ideal sunscreen is at an end! Quick and easy to apply, light feel, very little “ghost” appearance, exceptionally water resistant, and most importantly—mineral based! (Goodbye clothes stains and potentially dangerous chemicals!) My only issue is how little sunscreen is in one stick. If you apply once a day (ignoring the 2-hour reapply suggestion), expect the stick to last about 10-12 days (face, neck, ears, and hand/forearm application). I would have hoped one stick would last a month, but it suffers from the same greediness as most stick deodorants—half product, half air inside. What’s more, expect the stick to break off into the cap on day 8 or 9. Ironically, this actually makes it easier to apply once you’ve wedged it free. Because then you can use it like a stick of chalk. You’ll get the standard issues with arm/leg hair and stubble, as with all mineral sunscreen. And you’ll have to clean your car door regularly if you wear on your arms it while driving. One downside of the exceptional water resistance is that you need to use either a make-up/toner wipe or shower with a loofa to remove the sunscreen completely. Again, standard for mineral sunscreen. Overall, it’s the best sunscreen I’ve tried, especially since it works well for face and body. (I moisturize and wait 2-3 minutes before applying to my face.) Just know that it’s about $1 or so per day-to-day application.

This face sunscreen does the job, it has a high SPF and it is liquid and therefore spreads. The only problem is that it seems virtually unavoidable that it leaves a very noticeable white sheen. Of course, it is a mineral sunscreen, but there is really no way to apply this that makes it presentable. I've put on a serum first and then this and it is still quite visible. In the end, I've covered it with powder, but that is not really workable for me. I would say this is useful as a sporty since when you're going to be outside for a good amount of time and you want a sunscreen that will last and not block your pores.

This sunscreen was great for my sensitive skin. I bought it to take on vacation and loved the fact it counted as a solid at the airport. It was plenty to last for my ten-day trip and was gentle and protective on my skin. If I had packed a travel-size liquid sunscreen, I would have had to buy the 38-dollar bottle at the resort, so this purchase saved me money. Another great thing about this sunscreen is it stays in place but does not feel oily or greasy on my skin. It also prevents your hands from being covered in sunscreen all day. This has been my go-to sunscreen since using it the first time. It is also a great form for applying to little ones' faces, arms, and legs. It is quick and easy to swipe on smoothly without the fight of spraying it on or rubbing a liquid one on.

This definitely leaves a white cast, but it’s much easier to put on than most mineral sunscreen. For the price I definitely wish the bottle was bigger. I managed to snag it for. $9.99 but the price has since gone back up around five dollars more. Overall, I’ll deal with the white cast since I have so many allergies, this is the only nice mineral sunscreen that I can get for my face.
