This is a large, well-made cooling unit with multiple options for lighting. It is very quiet even on its highest setting, probably quieter than a desk fan. It has a sturdy plastic design, a convenient LCD display, and two USB ports.The caveat - you can turn lights on and off (or choose different colors) on the decorative trim of the unit. You CANNOT turn off the lights nestled below the fans. Those are always on. This will most likely give your room a blue glow. If you want total darkness while fans operate, look to other options.That's just a nitpick, though. Really good unit!

Bought this for my 17.3" monitor MSI laptop. Have had it for a week-plus and it has worked great. Note you want a cooling pad that can fit the entire footprint of the laptop, so smaller and cheaper pads were not an option in my case.Fan noise gets drowned out from my laptop fans under heavy use. The lighting settings are fun, and yes the lights can be turned off while the fans still run.A few no-so-obvious things to remember however. First, you can change the settings for how many fans run by holding down the power button. This is in the user manual but may not be obvious. Also when it's powered off and on again the speed setting defaults to 3 (out of 6). More importantly is the power situation. It comes with a short USB-A cable to power it from the laptop. This uses one of your laptop ports, but also one of the pad's ports. So the "2 USB ports" advertised cancel out if you power it off the laptop. If you have a longer USB cable you can connect it to a separate outlet, however. This will give you that extra USB port to use and may even boost your laptop's performance as it doesn't need the watts to run the pad. So perhaps pick up another USB cable while you're buying this.These aren't very problematic issues, though, just "important to know",

This cools my laptop when gaming and prevents my internal fan from surging during game play. The lights are an OK feature. They don't bother me. I like the fact that it can be raised for air flow and that it has a stop for the front of the laptop that opens up. I like the functionality of it. The fans are not that loud, and they work better than my cheaper single fan cooler.

I've bought this cooler twice. I have a 18" gaming laptop and it holds it well, the fans all work superbly, lots of output. They are easy to get to to clean. The plugs all work and the lights and controls are easy to access and use. As far as cooling, it's a beast. Keeps my laptop nice and cool. The one and only issue I've had and the reason I bought another one, is the slip bar on the bottom. The one that holds the laptop in place when it's raised. They are awfully brittle. The first one broke (about 3 months in?), and three days into the new one, it's popped out and I got it back in but it is now bowing and struggling to hold my computer. I love this cooler except for this one thing. Looking at other coolers for this size computer and they all seem pretty flimsy, and the way this one works so well everywhere else, I hesitate to try another brand... it's just this one thing. but it's pretty major. If I can't use the slip bar, no sense using the cooler.

Very "cool". Keeps my large laptop elevated nicely and safely and prevents overheating. The scrolling/changing color RGB lights are a nice touch. I guess my only complaint is that there is no OFF option for the fans (other than unplugging it); it would be nice if I could just put the number down to 0 for intensity and it would shut down when I'm not using the laptop. Otherwise though, a pretty solid purchase and well worth the price.

UPDATE: I was surprised! ChillCore customer service reached out to me directly to apologize for the issues I had with this laptop. After some great communications they sent me a different/new cooling pad to try! I’ve just been using it for a day but already it’s sooooo much better. Not only that, it just really doesn’t have the fan power (with all of them going to cool off my laptop. Too late to return so I guess I’m back on the hunt.

Perfect! Keeps laptop cool and looks great doing it! 15 out of 10 , would buy again!

As of now this keeps the computer cool and at a good temperature. Cools all over the laptop instead of just the center or a certain area. For now I would recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop cooler.
