Handy garden shredder
The media could not be loaded. ●a well made machine, more than enough for our needs. We only have an evergreen hedge that need to be maintained and some small branches that need attention only 2-3 times a year and to be honest I got annoyed to break the branches by hand and damage the sacks every time but with this machine is a lot simpler and quicker. I like it.●quite easy to assemble, al parts are in the pack including screws and spanners needed, all explained in the user manual. The only think to keep in mind is that, the collection box locker must be on the same side with the wheels and power buttons, otherwise the shredder won't start.●the shredder seems to be good quality and easy to operate. All over around made of hard plastic and metal, it has powerful carbon steel and sharp blades that hardly can get stuck, I have no problems with since. It has only 4 buttons green and red to switch it on/off, orange one to change the blade rotation direction (forward/backwards in case it gets stuck) and reset button to use it when changing blade rotation direction, everything is explained on the sticker above the buttons.●works connected to a 220-240v socket and is very safe to use. It t is really hard to get your fingers near to the blades and anyway if there is anything left that needs to be pushed, the shredder comes with a plastic handle to avoid any unpleasant incidents.Recommend it.

Robust Garden Shredder
The media could not be loaded. The shredder required a small amount of assembly before use and with reference to the full colour instruction sheet and manual using the two spanners provided and my crosspoint screwdriver this was completed easily in about 10 minutes .The three metre long power cable is heavy duty, quite thick and it is fitted with a fused three pin plug. The assembled unit itself is quite heavy but using the built in handle the shredder can be tipped up and moved fairly easily on it's two large plastic wheels and it then rests on its strong metal frame when in use.I liked that the collecting bin that slides under the frame has a sliding switch that locks it in place thus preventing the motor from operating if it is not fitted correctly and a push stick is also provided to help feed material into the shredder both important features that ensure safe operation. The on/off, forward and reverse and overload buttons are large and easily accessible on top of the shredder. They are also clearly marked and I liked that they are covered with a flexible covering to help keep out dirt and damp.Driven by a powerful 2.5 kw motor the adjustable sharp cutter that does the shredding looks very strong, solidly engineered and capable of shredding the 40 mmm diameter material that the makers claim it will but so far i have only tried it on some old woody plant stems and it made short work of those. At the appropriate time I am going to reduce the width of a hedge that is getting difficult to manage and this will come in very handy for chipping the branches down for easy disposal or perhaps use as a mulch.I liked this garden shredder. It isn't unduly noisy so it won't disturb the neighbours .It's also very easy to use and it's large collection bin holds a lot of material so I won't have to be stopping to empty it too often. I think it is of sturdy construction and is built to last so I would say it's a good buy.

Poor stanard
Disappointed. The case split using it the first time Blue and black sections separated. The screw mounting pillars appear to have snapped.

DOVAMAN GT10 Quiet Garden Shredder
So this is a hefty piece of equipment but it is fairly easy to put together and has a good manual included. But I'm not overly convinced by it. It is quieter than expected but it certainly doesn't work as well as shown in the product video/pictures. It took several attempts to cut the branches we put through and though the chips were decent, the fact we had to put them through several times wasn't hopeful. Obviously until we fully use it in the growing season, can't see how it works but am holding some reservations at this point. Will update in time.

Very useful
The media could not be loaded. Wow, this thing is heavy but I managed to get it assembled. It does need the base putting on and the wheels, but it was fairly straight forward apart from sticking the wheels on the wrong part of the shredder. It is easy to use, there is a control dial which adjusts the shredding ratio and allows for different thicknesses of branches. If you stick one in too thick it will grumble and can jam and stop and then you have to clear it and reset the system, use reverse and restart start again which takes up to 5 minutes. Wet branches tend to stick and leave gunk over the chopping blades. The machine is heavy duty and you get used to what you can get away with shredding after a while, so its more trial and error at first. It comes with a 55 litre bin which collects the shredding but it fills up very quickly. I think it's great though as I pay for a fortnightly garden bin to be emptied and I can get twice as much stuff in it now than before. It is loud to operate when shredding. The wheels lets you move it around the garden but youll need an extension to make the most of it if you have a big garden.Overall I think its a good value machine and as long as you feed in the branches slowly and check their thickness isn't beyond the machines limits, you'll find how useful it really is.
