Works well opening jars

Item breaks very easily. This is the second one I’ve bought and within two months it broke!Would not buy again. This is the third one that has broken.

I got this lid opener mainly for opening water bottle lids which sometimes have very sharp edges which combined with the locking ring makes it difficult for me to open without hurting my fingers. This opener has a smaller and a larger end for different sized lids. The smallest end goes just tight enough to open my water bottle lids when the handle is all the way closed. It's not a completely tight grip so at times there is a bit of slippage but it does grip enough that thus far I have always been able to get the lids open. It's a handy item for me to have on hand and I would say it's a fair value.

This is a great jar opener. It’s adjustable so that it can be used for different-sized jars. It definitely makes opening jars easy. I no longer have to ask my son for help or run jars under cold water so that I can get them open. I’m very happy with it.

This is an odd item - it's a strange design in that it works well for bottles, and for jars up to may 3" diameter lids or so, but for a bigger jar (in our case, a wide-mouth salsa jar) by the time you get the remover over the lid it's way too wide to grip and turn unless you have enormous Incredible Hulk hands.Big lids that are hard to grip and turn on their own (and I'm tall and have fairly large hands) are impossible to use this on, so it's of limited practicality for the amount of space it takes in the drawer. Maybe I'm using it wrong, so I'll keep it handy for a while and see if I can figure out a more practical way to use it, but I can anticipate it gathering dust until someday when I clean out that drawer...

The Performore 6-in-1 multi-opener compact bottle and jar opener kitchen tool has been incredibly helpful for my mom, who has arthritis and struggles to open jars and bottles. This compact jar and bottle opener is easy to use and is something that every household should have. The price is excellent, and I will be purchasing more for stocking stuffers.
