I purchased this set for a friend and she loves it! Her hair is somewhat fine with a slight curl and is wavy. She said that when using all of the products together, it makes her hair look amazing and i agree. She washes and conditions every other day and uses the 2 styling products in between showers. She loves that they refresh her hair perfectly and in her case she doesn't have to use a ton of the productsThis was a great purchase, IMO

I've been wanting to try Curlsmith products for quite some time. My hair was stick straight for most of my life, but menopause with hormonal changes put an end to that! Wavy and curly to the max! Actually one of the only positives of menopause for me. Because of years of straight hair, it's been a learning curve to figure out what's best to use on the extreme waves without frizz, flattening or crunchiness. Who knew how big of a world curly hair products were?? Curlsmith has turned out to be one of the best! The shampoo and conditioner were light, had an amazing scent and did the job; however, I wasn't really sure how it really did anything different to my waves than any other shampoo or conditioner.AH! But the Moisture Memory Reactivator and Effortless Waves were a gamechanger! I use the Reactivator as a leave-in after I towel dry, and I don't just have waves when my hair is fully dry - I have CURLS. Incredible! On day 2 or day 3, I will sometimes spritz my hair with a water mister until it's pretty wet and either add more reactivator or the effortless waves, scrunch through and WOWZA - nice! Last night I went to bed with still-damp hair, and the curls when I woke up from the Reactivator were insane. I didn't even brush because they were so amazing. Just put my hair up in a clip. And NO crunchy hair! Soft and beautiful.I highly recommend the styling and leave-in products!

Didn't do much for my waves

So... it's pretty hard to tell if you have "wavy" hair. Certainly my hair is not dead straight, but I've never really had a curly texture, either.I thought I'd give this a shot to see if I could enhance my waves and volume. But I think this isn't for me. My hair is brown (naturally) but going grey and I dye it with single process dye. It's shoulder length and pretty healthy. On average, I wash it twice a week.More details:- I didn't receive the conditioner - I got two cleansers. I think that's an anomaly, but it means I can't review the conditioner.- the cleanser is thick. It does suds-up relucantly, and it felt like it took a LOT of rinsing to get fully out. Even after rinsing, my hair felt like it had a product on it. And the first time I used it, I had the problem of residual shampoo on the top of my head that I had to re-rinse out a second time when it dried and my hair was clumpy.- the spray in products (items 3 & 4) feel nice, but I can't tell if they are doing anything.- I tend to towel dry, sit around in a turban and then let my hair air dry, I'm not a big fan of heating it unless I really must for some styling reason. I did my normal routine, and when my hair had finally dried, it felt frizzier than normal and didn't have the sheen it usually does. I ended up spraying some more leave in conditioner of another product and that tamped it down a bit.I see the reviews that say this is a super great product... so maybe it's super great for other hair types?

I got this for my family to try & so far we all love it! I myself have curly hair & my husband has wavy hair, & our son also has wavy hair. We all keep it somewhat long too, so lots & lots of hair in this household! I have been doing the "no poo" method of cleaning my curly hair for years so I didn't actually use the shampoo myself, but my husband & son have & it worked great for both of them, leaving them with clean hair. The conditioner worked great for all of us, me included in my "no poo" method, leaving my hair noticably softer & cleaner! Both sprays are very good too! We tried using them both separately & together & even though both sprays do work well enough alone to fight frizz & define curls, together they combine to give some of the most luxurious waves & curls this family has ever seen! I even took it in with me so my stylist could use the sprays after my haircut & she loved them too! She remarked about how lightweight both sprays are so that they don't weigh down your curls.My only complaint is how the spray bottles work, as it seems like if I tried to spray it directly onto my hair, more ended up on the floor than my head. So, I just spray the product into my hands & then spread it through my curls & this has been working great for myself.As a whole I would definitely recommend this as a good set to try, especially if you are trying to cut down on silicones, phlates, & other additives. My curls have never been healthier & my husband's waves have never been wavier! And my son's hair has just gotten curlier as it's grown out with this stuff!

Thought I'd give this a shot since I have wavy hair but during pregnancy, it gets really wavey!! Been using this for a couple weeks now and honestly haven't noticed any difference. The smell is AMAZING tho! And it does leave my hair feeling soft. I was just hoping for a more enhanced wave look. It may work better on other hair but it's just okay on mine.
