Barbie The Movie Ken Doll Wearing Pastel Pink and Green Striped Beach Matching Set with Surfboard and White Sneakers

This Ken doll from Barbie: The Movie is awesome! The details are great — from the striped beach outfit to the surfboard accessory, it really captures the fun vibe of the film. The doll feels well-made and comes with movable joints, which makes it easy for kids to pose and play. My child loved recreating scenes from the movie and mixing him in with their other Barbie dolls. It’s a perfect gift for fans of the movie or any Barbie lover who wants a little extra Ken-ergy in their collection!

cute doll - looks like the movie character! and comes with surfboard. The joints are sturdy and move well, and look better than the "made-to-move" type, however the doll is not as posable as a MTM. I like the doll.

I loved Ryan Gosling's performance in the Barbie movie, and this doll was added to my Ken collection as an homage to him. The face mold is pretty good in terms of resemblance, though not as handsome as the actor (I find that Mattel in general does a much better job of this than other doll companies). "Real" hair rather than molded with the , and a costume worn in the movie (wish they made one with the ridiculous white fur coat). Better quality clothing than what is usual on current iterations of Ken (or Barbie). Oh, for the good old days of attention to construction, scale and the little details that made old-school Barbie clothes so special. And the Amazon price for this one was lower than the big box store price, so an added attraction.

This worked perfectly for my Marilyn Manson celebrity doll. It was surprisingly easy to transform him from Ken to Manson. Although he was gorgeous as Ken, he is having more fun being a goth rocker lol.

Love the dolls from the movie, Ken was on sale and has the Ryan face and tan, Im super happy, hope they will re-release more of the dolls again.

Granddaughter loved it! Seemed well made and if she’s happy with it then I am! It will go well with all her Barbies!

I already have the Mojo Dojo Casa House Ken who I absolutely adore; however I wanted a second more base movie Ken to go with my pink gingham Barbie.Especially seeing that this one has the new Ryan Gosling face sculpt and was less that 15, this was a no brainier. I wanted one of each face mold.At the end of the day, I do really like him overall; however, while he does actually look like the actor, I can't help but find his expression to be too serious.Why didn't they give him a smile or at least a confident smirk? He's beaching for crying out loud! It's his thing. He's in his element. Why then does he look like he's going for a root canal or about to do his taxes?Same with the refaced roller blade Ken.Comparing my more high dollar Ken to this one, I actually prefer the original mold. The original mold has this silly, joyous, infectious grin that makes it look like he's having a ball and loving life.This one just looks handsome and depressed.
