OK, so maybe it's just where I'm located (Albuquerque) but I struggle to find pearled barley at the grocery store. I love this in with beef and green chile for stew and I'm very happy to find it here. Three bags will last me quite a while but it was a reasonable price and is a good quality product.

This is the cleanest barley I've ever had. The pearls are small, white, and smooth, unlike the bulky brownish barley I'm used to. This gives it a cleaner and better appeal, and it tastes delicious. Barley is a staple of my diet, so I'm happy I found this brand. Seriously, it's so clean and neatly packaged, you'll think it's too tame to be barley when you see the packages. But don't let that fool you, it's barley to be sure, tough and requires thorough cooking. And it swells nicely to boot. I'm a big guy with a big barley bite, and this doesn't disappoint, it satisfies. I'd recommend it for barley lovers everywhere!
