The bars of soap are large and last so long! They are so creamy and leave the skin feeling so soft and with a delicate fragrance. The value for 6 bars of soap is excellent. The soap is gentle and non irritating - lathers up well.

Lovely strong lavender scent, mild on skin, just a good all rounder.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a soap as a gift for my neighbor, and I must say, it turned out to be a delightful surprise for both of us. This exquisite soap exceeded all expectations, offering a truly luxurious and indulgent bathing experience that left us feeling refreshed, pampered, and uplifted. From the moment I unwrapped the soap, I was captivated by its elegant packaging. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness in design made it an impressive gift choice. I love Yardley soap. I buy Lily of the Valley as well as Lavender. It seems dearer than some but it actually lasts at least three times longer so is therefore in the long run less expensive. What I like, apart from the beautiful smell, is this soap never goes sludgy and mushy. You can use every scrap. Marvellous. I actually have a tablet by my bed as Lavender helps you sleep and anyway it smells lovely.

There are other lavender soaps, but this is the one my family love. As a soap, it doesn't cause us any nasty reactions and as a scent it is lovely stored in chests of drawers with clothing. It even deters moths!

I used to buy these from a nearby department store. Now that this shop has closed, I was relieved to see that I could still find the soap online.

I have used Yardley Lavender Soap for decades, with most of it bought from Amazon. Always it has been the tops and beautifully packed. Not so this time. The package arrived on time, seemingly in order until I opened it and inside there were 3 bars of which two were battered and the bars inside damaged, one bar looking as if it had been dropped from a great height, its box smashed open and shoved back together again. It is an expensive soap and this is not a good advert for the firm selling it. NOT the usual high standard of service that Amazon has always provided. Pull your socks up.

I love this soap, I've been using it for years.

It has a hint of a fragrance. Lathers nicely. Does not crack or soak up too much water if kept in a soap dish that is properly drained Does not dry you out. Though it does not moisturise you either. For four decades, this has been the one bar soap that seems to get everything just right. Every time I try a different soap because of some claimed virtue (moisturising, fragrance free, all natural, et cetera) I feel let down and come back to Yardley.

I ordered Yardley Soap ( lavender) pack of 12 and only received 1 soap in the packet, real rip off. Please refund my money
