I love peak designs products. They are well thought out and usually well made. So I was an early adopter to their mobile accessories product family. I had this same case for my iPhone 13, so it was a natural progression.The old case’s loop lasted for about a year before the stitching and the plastic piece inside of the loop completely deteriorated—which I thought, yeah ok an acceptable life span for something used constantly. So I didn’t hesitate to buy this for my new phone in an appealing new sage green color.Unfortunately, the loop on the new case, while nice, completely deteriorated inside and out in less than a month. First, the fabric unbound itself almost instantly from the loop. Within 2 weeks, the loop plastic material that gives it the folding ability, became crunchy and then completely waif like until it ripped off by itself being put in my pocket multiple times daily (because it could no longer fold flat). The finger loop, the entire appeal of this option on the case, solidly lasted without degradation for a whole 7 days.The loop is so poorly constructed I cannot believe this was allowed past any kind of significant use testing. I would never suggest this product to anyone. Just sort of makes me feel duped. Get the one without the loop.
