Stromberg CarlsonFP-1002-R Foam Grip Wrap

I truly cannot recommend this to anyone. Not very happy with the design. Quality, is there, and the grip is nice. However the tape you use with it to seal the end of the wrap is just meh. It's not holding up whatsoever and already looking for replacements. It's been a month and I don't foresee this lasting much longer. Use your money to purchase something different.

I like it but don't love it. It's just a rubbery wrap with a little black tape for both ends. It works for now but I suspect the tape will come loose in a year and I'll have to start over. Maybe with a stronger tape this product would last a long time.

This is a good replacement for the original foam handle covering and is easy to put on. It does not require disassembling the handle to apply. I gave it four stars because of the tape used to secure the ends of the grip. Sticky tape does not hold well in hot climates such as Arizona. After some time in the heat they pull loose. What I did do with this was to wrap both ends with "Rescue Tape" which seems to hold well.

I wish it had the glue attached to the elastic band. I used it to repair my Bowflex body tower pull up bars. The tape holds and I am going to use these again if I need to.

sturdy rubber like foam material and did not have to dis-assemble to install. tape ends needed reinforcing with electrical tape and it looks like a baseball bat grip but does the job. seems overpriced for what it is but it was the best alternative.

Used it to wrap the handles of a wheelbarrow and it is still holding up fine! Was surprised that it was not self stick continuous, but once I had it applied it worked just fine.

This worked very good on our RV door handle (shaped like the image shows). We like the feel better than the "pool noodle" feel of the other style of handle covers. My husband did have to make sure the ends fit well and I think he used some additional tape.

I used this grip wrap to replace the grip on my Sun Mountain three wheel golf push cart, and it works great! Two things of note: (1) you will need two of these to complete the entire cart grip, and (2) I would recommend some black electrical tape to secure the ends in place of the vinyl tape provided in the package. This is an "off label" application of the grip, and thus far it has worked well.

Works but would like a solid foam cover.
