They work great for those hard to hold items.
I have recently put up several pegboard panels made from steel. They have a good look, and 1/4" holes. I wanted these due to the sturdiness of them and because I intend to put up some heavy items. I have a lot of 1/8" hooks I saved from the past, they work well if you bend the hook part, but aren't as sturdy as 1/4" hooks. Now I have started accumulating some 1/4" hooks, I had seen the Triton hooks a few times, and decided to give them a try. I was doubtful about them at first, but they looked unique and would hold several things I have no way to hold otherwise. They have a small hook at the top to go in the hole, and a hole at the bottom part to accept a screw to screw them into the pegboard. If I had the wood type pegboard, they would work great, right off the bat, but the screw just spins in the steel boards because the screw threads end just before the head of the screw. BUT; I found a solution! I have some 1/4" washers that are .09" thick, about 3/4" outside diameter that when used between the hook and the pegboard, they hold fast. I have to put the screw in the hook first, start the washer, place the washer in a vise to hold it, screw in the screw, then screw it to the pegboard. An extra step, sure, but it is worth it, otherwise, the hooks just spin in the steel pegboard and don't hold. The washer works great. I wish they could put these washers in the bag for those of us who are using steel pegboards. Now I know how to make them work, I will probably get more.

Awesome
Husband put in some old peg board in my craft/tools cubboard upstairs we’d had, 1/8in holes so not so easy to find accessories to fit but these are working perfectly! Great price too and shipped quickly for these days.

Best peg hooks period
I was skeptical about buying these for holding my shovels, brooms and other item but bought them just to test. Right after putting the first one I jumped back into Amazon to order more. These are the best things ever.

More Expensive But Worth It!
If you don't want to have your pegboard hooks falling out when you remove what the hook is holding, then Durahooks are the ones to get. They are extremely simple to install and they aren't coming out unless you unscrew the screw anchor and take the hook out. These durahooks are ideal for using with pegboard (1/4" or 3/8" holes) in the garage or workshop to hold tools...including saws, wrenches, pliers, hammers or garden tools like shovels, hoes and rakes. Just install them and forget about them. This is how pegboard hooks should work. I highly recommend them to anyone. Durahooks cost more than the regular pegboard hooks but they are worth it.

Good universal shape, heavier duty than expected
I bought these to hold random screwdrivers and things that don't fit into other holders that I have. I'm glad i got the smaller size because these expand to hold things that are over 1" in diameter. They are very stiff and hold onto things very tightly. I'm not using them on pegboard so I had to cut off the little pegboard tabs. I did use one on pegboard with the included screws and it is very stout.

sturdy cliop
Multiple uses for this spring loaded clip. I epoxied a magnet to the clip and use it as a cigar holder when I play golf. Magnet holds clip to metal frame of golf cart for easy cigar access.

Just the thing to hold my woodturning gouges. Keeps them close and safe. Can be used without pegboard-just drill a 1/8 " hole. Comes with screws to secure clamps to board
