My 6 year old low voltage landscape transformer burned out.This is smaller In size but more powerful. Higher output

I installed new landscaping lights that required a more powerful transformer than what I had. This one did the trick. One thing to note that I don't recall being in the description. The manual included in the package said you should not exceed 80% of the transformer's capacity. I needed 78 watts so I was just below that threshold. But if you need somewhere between 80 and 100 watts, get a more powerful transformer.I have seen a few conflicting messages about the timer feature. The timer in this transformer only works in conjunction with the photo sensor. The timer shuts off at the indicated hour interval only after the transformer is triggered on by the photo sensor.The photo sensor stopped working for me after the first night using it. I contacted the company directly (rather than Amazon) and they responded within hours (and it was New Years Day). They put a new photo sensor in the mail and that did the trick. So great customer service directly from the company.

Works well. The Timer isn't the best. Won't allow you to select a specific stop time. Other than that, I like it.

Works as advertised

Quality built item. Excellent functionality. Press button once for on, again for auto, again for 2, 4, 6, 8 hour on time, then again for off. I bought two for my front yard and will buy again when I do back yard.

This is nice and easy to use! The remote makes it very handy.
