I bought this mixer grinder in India to use in the US and have been using it for over six months now. It has been working excellently without any issues. The motor is powerful, handling grinding tasks effortlessly, from chutneys to masalas and even batter preparation

Quality machine

The item didn't work in India inspite of using110 Volts. Still we took the same to USA - We approached Preethi authorised dealer in Dallas and reported the complaint- He asked us to ship the mixer and repair the same on cost based. We paid - total 55 USD to get it repairs. There is no meaning of warranty

I purchased this while in India for US purpose . I have started using the mixer it is good . Earlier I had same model used it for 8 yrs had to go for new one since jars wore out . I choose same model this time too . Motor sounds like a vacuum cleaner at home . Otherwise good for Indian cooking . I wish there were more models/colors/designs to choose from . Overall serves the need .

While we planned to move from India, we thought of buying the same product from India. After seeing and reading multiple blogs and reviews almost everyone advised to buy from United states due to voltage, plug differences. But being myself first question was what would happen if i buy this product from India and use here? Answer is simple, it will work. But it will cause overheating issues and risk associated with it. My friends who bought from India are still after six months running without any troubles but they use it for very short time and switch it off or wait until the heating drops. I believe spending little extra would leave the tension behind of fire and injury. So after purchase we are using for normal chatneys and also for dosa batter grinding which gives amazing dosa's. Being a dosa lover I cannot spend even a week in U.states without it after coming here, we haunt down the Indian store and bought Indli rice and started using this mixer. Highly recommend this product for people who look for same Indian quality but need in 110V.

Well, I can't say how satisfied our entire family is with this mixer grinder. It is well built. The motor has overload protection feature. And the stainless steel jars are very well made. The lids slide into and out of the jars seamlessly. It'll be two years this September since we bought it and is still running great. The quality is almost as good as the grinders that we get in India. All Indians in USA should know that the quality of the Indian grinders we get here is not on par with what we get in India. I'm lucky I bought that as fulfilled by Amazon. Otherwise it would have been $170 down the drain. We were so dejected with that item that we hesitated to buy any grinder for our Indian Kitchen for a while until my mother from India advised us that we can't go wrong with this Eco Plus Grinder. Took her advise and bought it. No worries since then. To name a few, we make: 1. Idly batter, 2. Various kinds of Dosa batters like Minapattu, Pesarattu Guntur Style, Thick Pesarattu North Coastal Andhra Style 3. Gravies for Koormas, Mutter Paneer, etc 4. All kinds of Andhra chutnies like Beerakaya chutney, Vankaaya chutney, Gongura chutney, Tomato chutney, Palli chutney for Dosa and Idly, Mixed Palli-Putnaalu-Kobbari chutney for Dosa and Idly, Kobbari pacchadi for white rice, Kandhi pacchadi (a Guntur delicacy made from roasted toor daal), 5. Various powders like Sambar Powder, Chaaru Powder, Nuvvula podi, my Mother's Special Podi for Vankaaya koora, Putnaala podi, Kamma podi, Gunturu Kaarappodi.... You name it, we make it. The same stuff I used to enjoy in my good old Guntur in India. Thanks to Amazon for bringing a smile on all our faces here in USA. I bought it sold and shipped by Amazon unlike some other unlucky buyers who got their hands burnt by dealing with General Elect, Gandhi Electronics etc. They are all con and scam artists.
