My grandson just started college and is taking art. The focus of "drawing" uses a lot of different media and materials. It can be a bit expensive. This set was a big help. Its a great value and has a lot of the items his instructor required. The diversity of materials is a good deal with various, charcoal, pens, erasers, pastels and even paper. Although the paper isn't what he needed for every type of drawing, it serves as good practice paper. The fact that it all fits in a handy carrying case makes it easier to transport his art supplies back and forth to campus. The ingenious manner in which they layered the pens/pencils allowed for more art supplies to be included. While we did have to supplement a few items, this was a great value and good quality set. I can see both kids and adults getting a lot of enjoyment with this set and learning to express their creative talents at the same time. Good deal, good supplies!

Haven't started using it yet but I know it will work great for all my art projects! It has plenty of pieces to get me started!

This kit was pretty good, it had a lot of tools for the money. I wish it explained what some of those tools were for. My daughter is a younger artist who was self taught so even she wasn’t sure what they were all for. Overall good product that was mostly easy to use.
