This is a really good system and the app connects easily. My chillies are coming along very nicely, much better than the ones in the greenhouse.

Top class quality but only complaint is cleaning tank will be mirr than a wipe because of the design.

My first Hydroponics system, and I’ve been eyeing getting one for a while.Setup is really easy; you just have to make two choices - do you want a fully automated system? Do you want to grow 21 or 2 plants?If you go automated, you mix the foods and pour some into the food chamber and then hook up the tube to a water source (BELOW) the unit. Manual, you don’t do any of this but mix water with food to a given level and then keep topping up.I went automated, and none of the other two options as I was going to try and grow a variety of plants, and as they had different growth rates, I could see the quicker ones outgrowing the slower ones.So I seeded 11 pods on the 21-pod lid.Only one show was a spinach pod; not sure why (the other one spinach pod was fine), but 10 out of 11 isn't too bad and no fault of this machine.The other thing I wasn't sure what to do initially as I’d set it up in the kitchen was how to make the feeder tube look less clunky in a jar, so I had the idea of feeding it into a water can, which also meant it wasn't going to easily get dislodged.Image of the plants is day 13 from seed, and all are doing fine: Chives,lettuce, Mint (is slow though), Dill, Rosemary (slow but has germinated), Argula two and both doing well, Spinach, Scotch Bonnets x2There are a few design oddities: one is that the guide tells you to leave them in the dark initially to germinate (so you'd think the unit would be smart enough to not put the lights on till the first plant stored in the app was due to go past germination. I guess that’s the overall thing - it’s not smart; it works off triggers (fill water when balance float is low) and timers - circulate water, pump food in.The other consideration is the price; if you’re planning to grow lettuce, for instance, you might be better served buying lettuce, but if you want to have a mini herb/flower garden in the house and want a more hands-off approach to growing, then this is ideal.One other thing: if you do put it in a room like the kitchen, it will cover its costs in electric use as you will hardly be putting the kitchen lights on ever again.

This smart hydroponic growing system has worked so well for growing herbs from seeds. The build quality is excellent and it feels very solid. It is easy to assemble and connect with my smartphone. My wife has grown a few small herbs with this device successfully in the first attempt so it's very easy to use. It is fully automated and we did monitor it everyday. The adjustable light is very strong. It also supports continuous watering by connecting it to a water source, which is a feature that I am going to try next as I'm going for a long trip soon. It is priced at £249.99 at the time of review, which I think is reasonable considering its performance. I would highly recommend it to any plant lovers or as a special gift.

I requested this item for my nephew who is a keen gardener and who runs a gardening club at the school where he teaches.I am so impressed with this product; every part is of great quality and contains everything you need to get started. There was a slight hitch with connecting to WiFi but it was resolved pretty quickly.The instructions are simple and easy to follow. Instead of using seeds, my nephew used some chilli plants that were doing very little in pots and were approximately 2cm high. After 2 weeks, they’ve doubled in size and look fantastic.This hydroponic system is the ultimate winter gardening solution. Plants that weren’t growing very much at all are now thriving in a season when chillis would not usually grow at all. Even better, there are currently 8 varieties growing. With this system, vitamins and water are automatically supplied, which takes any worry out of looking after the plants’ health. The only slight criticism is that the system requires a large reservoir of water.This product is excellent value for money. It completely takes the guesswork out of growing and gives pure results. The app is reliable, works well and doesn’t require a subscription fee. My nephew is delighted with this product and is contemplating buying another one. Highly recommended.

This indoor garden is amazing! My son loves taking cuttings from his plants and growing new roots on the cuttings in water - this automated garden has taken it to a whole new level - it even comes with some plant food / nutrients. Everything can be controlled from the app which has lots of help and information. There is a touch control panel on the front of the garden which also displays current settings. The water is constantly moving around so that the plants benefit from raised oxygen levels, light intensity can be adjusted and the garden runs on a timer. You can also set the feeding times - the food is put into a little compartment inside the garden where it is added to the water as programmed. The foam inserts for the plant holders are used if you have a seed you want to grow. Everything you need is included, there are even little canes to support the plants as they grow taller. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this indoor water garden, particularly if you love growing and naturing indoor plants or even if you are looking to start a new hobby.
