I use this to make up a cheap version of Gaviscon advance, mixed 5:1 with potassium carbonate. I mix in Turmeric and licorice powder as well, and pop a quarter teaspoon in my mouth with water after meals.This makes it ideal for travel as it's a dry powder and much lighter, as well as much cheaper. In the Canaries you can't buy it anyway, except in very expensive tablet form.
