First, this mattress was firm. Not my usual likeness, but comfortable... for a night. It sleeps hot..EXTREMELY so. I've tried sheets of all kinds and even still I'm hot all night long. (And I got this in the winter! ) Next it began to sag.. and not just a little sag.. it was enough to make anyone feel overweight! The areas that are supposed to give you that extra support are saggy. Just like a spring compressed for a very long time might be.. or how memory foam tends to hold the body shape. And this was just after 30 days! I contacted Amazon for a return and was first told i had to contact the manufacturer because they don't handle it. Then i said it was a purchase through them, and I wanted to return. "No problem. Just box it up and take it to your nearest Ups." Um.. this is a king sized mattress, how do you package and carry it into a store? I was then told oh, we'll have to have our team contact you. No one did. I've reached out to the manufacturer (forget it. If you buy it in Amazon, they're is nothing they can/will do. Even though it has a 365 night guarantee! I called again today, because I was told they were going to take care of it, and still I got told the same run around. In 48 hours it will no longer be elegible for return. I'm stuck with no replacement, no upgrade/downgrade option. I get to have a bed that makes me hurt more than my 15 year old one did. I have arthritis in my back on top of degenerative disc disease so a bed I can actually sleep on is rather important! Buyer beware.. I will update my review if the company fixes this. 7 months later and NO ONE has worked to fix the problem. They don't return emails!! NEVER BUY FROM THOS COMPANY

After reading all of the reviews I decided to purchase the Dreamcloud Premier. Unfortunately I discovered just how relative a term “medium-firm” is. After ten days the mattress was excessively firm for my body. I tried sleeping in my back, on my side and my stomach. Finally at 1:30AM I called Amazon Customer Service to request an exchange or refund. After a brief hold the rep came back on the line and said that while they could not accept the mattress back, Amazon would issue me an immediate credit for the full purchase price. Then to my surprise he told me that I could discard, keep or donate the first mattress. The credit appeared with minutes and at 2:00AM I ordered the DREAMCLOUD PREMIER REST with the pillowtop. I paid the price difference and the new mattress arrived at my door 1 1/2 days later. I could not be happier. Though it is still expanding (it’s been less than 24 hours) I can already feel the difference. No more hip and shoulder pain; no more tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. This is the one. As with the Premier, the quality of materials and construction are superb. These mattresses look and feel much more expensive than they are. I have already donated the previous mattress to a family in need. I have been an Amazon customer for many years. Needless to say that after this experience I will be a customer for life.

This is the second review I am writing for this bed. The first was not allowed by Amazon, citing my review focused on packaging and delivery rather than the actual bed. Ok, I grant them that but packaging and delivery is a very huge aspect of such an expensive purchase. When you order something that costs just a few dollars shy of $1800, one would expect a well packaged product. The first bed we received was in a beat up box, the bed was not sealed in plastic and when I opened the end of the box the bed was filthy. So yeah, I wrote a bad review citing JUST the poor packaging and delivery but also stating that I couldn't review the mattress until a new one arrived and that I would update the review. Amazon told me to write a review of the seller instead. Well, the seller was Amazon, but this was not their fault though so I didn't think writing a review of them would be fair. Packaging was a manufacturer issue, not an Amazon issue. Amazon reps worked to get us a replacement mattress and it was a pretty easy process. They did a great job there. The packaging is the real issue, the boxes are just not sturdy enough to hold such a large item. Again, that is from the manufacturer, not Amazon. If the mattress is in sealed plastic it should be ok. The first one wasn't in sealed plastic and was filthy. Although I was weary about getting a replacement after seeing the condition of the first one, I knew I could return it to Amazon if it came in poor condition. Also I knew I could return it with the 365 day trial so we gave it another go. The new one arrived in a box that was worse than the first but the mattress was completly sealed so I was good with giving it a try. This thing was heavy, so make sure you have someone to help move it. it is rolled up so make saure you unroll it on your bedfarame or box springs. We got it upstairs and onto the box springs. I started to unwrap it and noticed there were some gel packets on the underside (the anti-moisture packets) so I tore a small hole in the plastic and pulled them out. The bed started to expand right away, which was awesome. It wasn't like a spring or anything, just you could see it start to expand. We got it unrolled and found the little tool to cut the plastic off which made it very easy to complete. Took the plastic off and in about 5 minutes this thing was full size and uncompressed. We left it overnight, as per instructions, but didn't sleep on it until 72 hours later. It was full size by the morning though. So far it is a little stiff but was comfortable from the git go. My wife said she woke up feeling pretty good. Our old mattress was giving us both back pains and shoulder pains, but we didn't have that with this mattress. The mattress is a bit stiff right now, but has become more comfortable after a week of sleeping on it. We are giving it a full month or two to see how it goes but for now it has become pretty comfortable. We got the pillow top version. The pro: Looks really nice The pillow top is very comfortable We don't have any back pain after a night of sleep. The sides of the mattress seem very sturdy. On our original mattress (beauty rest black), one of the sides is collapsing. We don't see that as an issue with this one, besides if it does there is a lifetime warranty. The lifetime warranty is an excellent benefit, as is the 365 day trial. The cons: The packaging needs some addressing. the box simply is not sturdy enough to handle such a massive object. Amazon was good in replacing the damaged one but I recommend opening the end of the box to inspect the packaging. If the entire mattress is not sealed, have it replaced. I can't say the price is a con because our other mattress was about $700 more expensive so we feel this one was a pretty good deal. I would watch for promotions. Final thoughts: So far this is a very good mattress and we are pretty happy with the purchase. In comparison to our other mattress, this one is far more comfortable and you can't beat the trial period or the lifetime warranty. I will update this if anything changes but so far so good...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

1.5 years update: I religiously turn my mattress every 3 months. Since it’s just me on the queen mattress, I tend to end up in the middle of the bed even though I try to sleep and lay on all sides of the bed. So, there is a little dip in the middle of the mattress, but not so much yet that it rolls me back to the middle. It is still incredibly comfortable and I don’t regret this purchase at all. I would still recommend it and I’m actually considering getting one for my son and his soon to be wife as a wedding gift. 6 month update: I’ve hade this bed for 6 months now and I’ve turned it once and it’s about time to do it again (you can’t flip it over, just in case you’re curious) but I have to tell you there is no sagging and it’s still super supportive and comfortable. I HAVE to update this: I have a son stationed overseas and his texts come in during the middle of the night. With my previous bed, I would be up all night texting with him because I couldn't sleep. People, I'm missing his texts because I'm sleeping so soundly. Can't say that's a good thing, but it speaks volumes about this bed! This bed is so comfortable that I don’t want to get out of it. It’s firm and supportive, but the cushion top makes its soft and comfy. It’s an amazing balance. I have hip issues and my previous mattress was killing me. I barely slept because of the pain. While, of course, I still have pain, it’s not keeping me awake at night because of the mattress. I didn’t sleep on it or cover it for 24 hours, but slept on it the next 2 nights while it expanded. I just used a flat sheet over the top, then took it off the next morning and left it uncovered for 72 hours. I’m super happy with the purchase. The mattress is super deep so make sure you get extra deep sheets.

The bed arrived on April 1, but it was delivered to the wrong address so that was a bummer. Definitely make sure that you get it delivered to the right address because this thing is heavy. I’m not kidding it’s really really heavy! Unboxing it was a bit of a pain because the way they have it wrapped, trying to cut the plastic wrapper off of the mattress without cutting. The mattress was a little difficult. It’s manageable, but it’s a bit difficult in the more you cut open the more it starts, stretching everything and making the mattress closer to where the blade goes. After finally getting it unwrapped left it for 48 hours so it could breathe and expand. I have the 16 inch Europop plush bed and it was still pretty squashed down after two days. It definitely wasn’t 16 inches. It was more like 13 inches tall. I’ve slept on it now for two weeks and though the mattress has expanded a little bit more up to 14 inches it’s extremely firm. I specifically purchased this mattress because it said plush but it’s more like a firm mattress. I will post updates over the next couple months to see if there’s any change in the mattress. I definitely like the warranty of 365 night trial and I looked up the return policy and it’s very quick and easy without any expense coming from me. More to follow. UPDATE: I definitely sleep better on this bed but it is a bit firm for my liking. I have since bought a mattress topper for it and now I’m happy. Upgrading to four stars because it is a really good mattress. Worth the money.
