Magen receiving product everything came in a nice packaged way- when opening it it had everything as well. When attaching it to my IEM’s though the boom mic didn’t work- disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times- and making sure all microphone settings were proper - this did not work. Again product seemed high quality but in the end failed for me.

First thing out of the box this cable feels extremely premium. After some trial and error with dongles I settled on the Apple 3.5mm to USB-C dongle, as it seems to have the best mic quality out of the dongles I had tried and Crinacle uses it to test frequency responses. However even with this dongle the mic quality was lacking for an $80 cable, but I'm not sure if that could be attributed to the mic itself or the limitations of a 3.5mm dongle.After wearing it for a few days I realized that this thing is so premium that it actually weighs down on my ears after 30 minutes to an hour of wearing it, and the ear the mic is on is especially weighed down. The end of the mic twists the IEM downwards and I need to keep readjusting, and the weight + the constant readjusting causes my ear to get irritated.The audio quality was perfectly fine and as expected for a decent cable on my Truthear Hexas. I'm not one to believe that a higher quality copper causes higher quality sound in my ears, and this hasn't changed my mind on that. It sounds like it transmits the audio cleanly and without noise, like any decent cable should.In an attempt to work around the heaviness on my mic ear, I tried using it with the mic disconnected, which definitely helped with the comfort. This unfortunately caused a clicking sound of sorts every second or so in the IEMs. I'm not sure if this is a fault of the cable or the dongle I was using, as I did some research and found that apple may not properly adhere to american TRRS standards or just use a standard that's unique to Apple, so that may have caused the clicking issue and not the cable itself.I eventually returned it due to the discomfort over a short amount of time and the middling mic quality. Maybe someone with larger, more stable ears could handle this thing better, but it wasn't for me.

I purchased this as I needed a microphone setup for my IEMs, and the original Gramr microphone quality sounded great in reviews. The original gramr is no longer available for purchase, so I bought this. Unfortunately, I will be returning this cable after posting this review.Lets start with the good: Looks great, cable feels sturdy and premium. The fit was comfortable for me. Had no issues with getting audio on my Truthear Zeros and Truthear Zero reds. Microphone was very light and flexible and the MMCX connector has a notch to prevent rotating.The bad: Right side is shaped oddly, and microphone is angled awkwardly towards your mouth. It takes some trial and error using audio splitters to get the microphone audio working correctly. It did not work with a USB-C dongle or with my focusrite scarlett solo.Most importantly: the microphone quality was horrendous. Tried on multiple setups and devices. It sounds terrible compared to the original Gramr microphone quality I've seen in reviews.Overall, this cable is extremely overpriced for the microphone quality you get. The microphone sounds worse than a random cheap inline microphone and it comes with much more hassle and cost. I will be returning this and most likely just be getting a cheap lavalier or modmic.
