Lovely (hic)
Almost brings back memories of the days of Watneys Red Barre, Courage, and Double Diamond. A definite taste of hops at last - and not the flat farmyard puddle taste of CAMRA ale. Bit of a nightmare to vent and tap. I turned the vent to the left as instructed to vent the beer and was rewarded with a geyser of froth that almost reached the ceiling. Shaken about in transit I suppose. Open the vent only a tiny bit, leave it for half an hour or so, wipe up the froth and close the vent again. Tapping it is also a bit of a strain - the tap has to be pulled out quite a way until it sticks out about two inches. Well worth the effort in the end. You deserve to sit down with apint and relax after all of that. Drink responsibly.

Great beer. Had a party & it went down very well with guests. People liked pulling their own pint.

Lovely flavour, very drinkable.
Crisp pale ale with a remarkably strong citrussy (is that a word?) aroma. The keg works a treat - stick it in the fridge for a couple of hours (or in the shed now winter is here) and once it's cooled down it's a doddle to draw from without foaming up. Best drunk within a couple of days of opening and make sure you close the top vent when not imbining, otherwise the product will go as flat as a politicians promises.

I love shipyard beer & ghost ship
I love shipyard beer & ghost ship. It's slightly stronger and more tangy than most IPA is the best word to describe it. Works out at about £1.60 per pint. - If you keep the air valve closed on the top the beer stays more fizzy. - Let is setlle for about 2 hours after delivery though otherwise when you open the spout it explodes all over the floor. ;-) Also a good tip is to put your glass into the freezer and have a frosted glass, just like the bars do in Tenerife!
