It looks like it is meant for the vehicle, but stick it in there and it’s obviously too short. Don’t touch the fluid. Now, I did this with the vehicle off. It’s possible that it needed to be running but I expected the fluid level to be higher with the engine off. I’ve been wrong before, suppose I could be wrong now.
