Very good quality of material,, frame and panels which really look like glass, ..easy to install, especially if you are a bit handy : the instructions are detailed till a certain point but there are a lot of accessories without explanation for them..I removed the adjustable top part at the door fits perfectly in my frame by chance l, and that gives a bigger top window.. I also managed to fit the lock of my sliding door to the dog door, .. this is not a standard option but can be done quite easilythey provide insulation foam but that covers only 1 side, make provision for more if you want to insulate both side , and top / bottomThe magnetic dog door is really great, it comes in place nicely and it is intuitive for the dog to open

There is no way to fit the two pieces together without having a permanent gap. (See photos) the instructions are terrible. The closeup photos don’t give any reference of where the pieces go. It is thin and flimsy. Noise and air comes through even with the weatherstripping. This is going back.

I like the overall design and features of this dog door and, more importantly, my dogs love it. I like that the dog door will swing open to allow full use of the opening when necessary. Installation was easy and instruction were decent. The only flaw so far is the cheap plastic piece that holds the door flap to the door. It breaks after about a week but I had some small screws, washers, and lock nuts and reattached without the the plastic piece and it works better than with it. I upgraded the weatherstripping material and added some insulation panels to the door since it is only single pane glass and a a thin sheet metal door. The drafts with the supplied weatherstripping was substantial and simply not hardy enough for cold and windy Ohio winters.

This is misleading to think it will just fit and click into the sliding glass frame! You have to put it together with a drill with tons of confusing nuts and bolts and then drill screws into the metal frame of your sliding glass door to secure it. NOT good for rental properties and it’s very confusing to assemble! I sent it back.

Easy to install. Built well. The magnetic door stays closed but is easy for my dog, a lab, to use.

Super easy to instal. This has been a great add to our new house. Would definitely recommend for sliding glass doors.
