If you're just looking for a basic GPS, maybe your phone's too small, maybe you don't like smartphones, this may be an option for you. You get the GPS unit, you get a suction cup mount system, the cigarette lighter power cord, and a short charging cable. Yes, it has a battery. The battery lasted me about two and a half hours, I was hoping it would last longer. So if you do not want to run a cord, you can just charge it up at home, stick it in the car and go. I don't like the screen, it's definitely not HD, it looks worse than those $100 tablets from China. If you get direct sunlight on it, you're not seeing anything. It does have a built-in FM tuner, but you'd have to run an aux cable to get the sound out. It will accept an SD card, my guess is for music, because it does have a music player. And this is only a 5 volt unit, you can't just cut the cigarette lighter end off and wire it in, that's too much voltage for the device. If you wanted the hardwire it in you would have to get a dash cam hard wire kit. And the adapter cord is just over 5 ft long. It does have a little bit of a lag to it, I have an older car so I don't have an infotainment system. But I have used one in a 2022 Ford F-150, and they seem to work really similar as far as lag and function. The lag isn't terrible, but you do notice it, especially if you're punching in an address. Everything comes in metric when you get it, you will have to go through the menus to get everything in imperial. In one of the menus there's a setting for regional, that's where you'll be able to change it from kilometers to miles.

I make a great choice on buying this when I did price was right and it dose everything it says

When I got the GPS, all seemed good. I tried to turn up the volume, and the volume doesn't work. I want to listen to the directions, because being a truck driver, your eyes have to be on the road, not the GPS.

It will get you to your destination. Large screen. But, the main screen is not helpful in finding settings. Menu is too complicated. Seller failed to answer any message. I returned it.

Quality for the price

I purchased this for my trip to Guam since my cell phone coverage was spotty there. It worked perfectly. Easy to use, the mount works great, I recommend!
