Goofy looking
It is a little Goofy looking, but the hands free protection from the sun is worth it. It is large enough to go over my head, neck, and shoulders.

Sweet headgear
My wife hates this thing. I’m fine with that. I’ve used it for both sun and rain. My only caveat is to beware of wind.

Cheaply made, but really useful
My first one broke after a couple of uses, but I have to admit, I was a little rough with it to try to get it opened in a hurry during a sudden shower burst while shopping. I bought another one anyway - price is good and it is really useful in that I use it when I am pushing my elderly mother in a wheelchair while she has her own umbrella to keep dry. This hat-umbrella is just the right size - any bigger and it would be unwieldy; any smaller and it would not keep me totally dry the way it does. So far, since I use a little care to open and close, I've had no problems. It is not the most comfortable thing to wear and I'd pay more if there was a little padding on the head wraparound and strap, but I can live with it as-is. Staying dry while having my hands free is worth it. I would definitely recommend this item.

Keeps me dry, keeps me shady, and keeps both hands free—this umbrella hat is my new superpower
Who needs a boring old hat or a clunky umbrella when you can look like the fabulous weatherproof diva you were born to be? This 37-inch umbrella hat is pure genius—shade, rain protection, and two hands free to carry coffee and make dramatic hand gestures. It’s surprisingly comfy, stays in place, and yes, I’ve gotten looks—but those are just stares of pure envy. Whether it’s keeping me dry in a drizzle or blocking the sun while I grill, it delivers. Bonus: I feel like the main character in some eccentric indie film every time I wear it. If you’re bold, practical, and just a little extra, this umbrella hat is your crown. Wear it with pride.

Shade is power
Works well. Can't work in tight quarters. oil nedd to look at the head size because mine was to small but still fits.

Will only use in the pool during summer rains.
I was really hoping this hands free umbrella would work for a 500 mi walk I plan on doing next year! I bought it well in advanced, (thank goodness!) to try out before my trip next yr. I liked it for the hot -dry- breezeless- sunny summer days I walked(Only remembered to take it 2x on my walk. The strap will slip down your forehead as you sweat)! HOWEVER!, for the rainy days with just a slight breeze, FORGET IT! Rainy days on my up -coming 500+ mi walk using hiking poles, is what I wanted a hands-free umbrella for! With just a 5-10 mi breeze this cheap thing, would be blown off the back of my head! I tightened the chin strap and was almost choked on the next time it blew off with chin strap around my throat and umbrella hanging down my back! Thank gosh I live in the country, bc if anyone had seen ,they may have driven off the road busting a gut LOL!! Because I missed my return window, I will take it with me on our next warm vaca to use in the pool ,to keep sun and tropical light rain off me. Maybe standing still, I can hold it in place when a light breeze arrives.

Great for hands free activities in the rain
Bought it for my best friend who caters and has to walk outdoors with food in hands in the mist or rain. She wears a raincoat but can't use an umbrella because she is carrying food. Her glasses get wet and she cannot see so I bought this hoping it would help. She says it looks kinda funny but she loves it. Keeps her glasses dry, her hands free, and even helps protect the pots the food is in. She would recommendd it to anyone that needs free hands in the rain.

Amazing!!!!
This this is so awesome! Have you ever been out in the rain, and needed both hands to do something? Me too, and this umbrella hat worked perfectly for it! Its wide enough to keep the rain off your shoulders, and had an elastic head strap as well as a cord that you can put under your chin. Ive used this walking in a protest, fishing in the rain, and even used it while gold panning up In maine this past summer! The only downside is some of the metal bars have a sharp edge, so be mindful when opening and closing it
