Fairly sturdy but a bit loose. It sticks out from my Roadtrek van a good amount. I have 2 ebikes on a rack totalling about 220 lbs and things bounce around quite a bit. There's a lot of leverage on the vehicle hitch but most of the flex happens in this swing mechanism. I wrapped a ratcheting tie down around the arms to help but it still flexed quite a bit. The swing adapter holds the bike rack far enough away that there's no worries that the bikes will contact the van. I use locking anti rattle hitch pins everywhere.A second latch would be a good improvement to hold things tighter. I might weld one on if I can find one. I should note that I don't have any concerns that this equipment will fail. I just came back from a 7k trip across the country and my only concern was my OEM hitch class IV failure. IDK if that much leverage on it is a good idea so I watch the bumps. You can see in the picture where I used the tie down and where a second binder latch would be a better idea.

I searched for the perfect bike rack but could find nothing that allowed room for my spare tire or allow me to side swing my 2022 Bronco rear gate. This is the perfect solution! It works perfectly with bike rack flipped up or with two 100 pound eBikes on it. Very easy to maneuver the rack and open the back of my truck.

It held up two 85lb ebikes through 10miles of rought terrain. It swings easily with the two ebikes on the rack.

Just what we were hoping for. Easy to assemble. Works great. Using on the back of a pro master van. Would recommend. Seems well made.

I have had the opportunity to install and personally use the HYPERAX Swing Away Adapter for the passenger side, and I have to say that overall, I'm satisfied with its performance. The installation was fairly straightforward, and the build quality seemed durable. However, I did encounter an issue with one of the parts not fitting as expected. I reached out to their customer service, and they were very helpful in resolving the issue. The 120-degree swing-away arm is a great feature and provides easy access to the rear of my vehicle. Despite the initial hiccup, I'm happy with the product and the customer support I received.

This thing is pretty awesome. It's very stout. I have the ebike rack that goes with it, however, my brain has been churning as to what else this swing away hitch could be used for. I've been thinking about building some sort of swing out camp kitchen with it. I also have a bunch of different hitch mount accessories that could work with this but let's get back to the swing away hitch. The installation was very easy. The entire thing arrived preassembled. The hitch pin screws in and gets locked with a key so you don't have to worry about it getting stolen. It mounts very solid to the vehicle and doesn't wobble at all. Using the swing away hitch part requires a little bit of force but I think it'll get easier to use with use. All-in-all, this swing away hitch receiver is well-made and functions great. I would definitely recommend it.
