Good Jars
These jars are my work horses, I need to get two more. they are worth the money to me. So far they seal good and hold a little over a gallon with plenty of head space

Great for making mead
This was perfect for my primary fermentation while making mead. Lots of room for fruit and a much easier clean than a carboy, and then I racked into a 1 gallon carboy for secondary and I had a bit extra to taste and figure out how much to back sweeten. The seals and top worked great. I’ve only used for one batch so far, but I was impressed.

Great jars and lids…wish they offered handles as well
Super high quality and heavy duty jars. I like the airlock lids, particularly the ability to close the port when the airlock isn’t needed. That allows me to use these in a couple ways—for lacto fermentation, kombucha, winemaking, etc. There is also another version of this jar with handles and regular lids. I do prefer the jar with handles for ease of carrying and pouring with less risk of problems. But that version doesn’t offer the airlock lids. I do wish the airlocklids were available for purchase separately, or a variation offered the handles and these lids. Otherwise, they are still great jars and I would buy again.

Saves space
Great fermenters. Stack better than the round. Saves space. Has attached bung plug for when the airlock is removed

Nice Fermenter - Short Test Runs
This is an excellent little fermenter for testing short runs before scaling up. The cover has a nice silicone seal and has a large mouth.

Would buy again
So much easier to clean than the gallon sized jugs I typically use for ciders and such. The fact that these are 1.5 gallons means that I get extra headspace for a vigorous fermentation without overflow. When primary fermentation finishes, I get a full gallon of liquid after racking, no need to top off to reduce headspace. The lids are airtight and the included airlocks work well.
