This HB grill is everything I had hoped..beautiful, functional, easy to clean and the perfect size & heat to grilling a couple steaks.

This is a great little BBQ if you live in an apartment and need to cook discreetly on your patio because it emits very little smoke, and the food cooks quickly. It heats up to a decent temperature for cooking chicken, burgers, or steak, or at a lower temperature for shrimp, veggies, etc. I was amazed at how nice the sear was on the steak, and I learned quickly to cut the cooking time so as not to overcook the meat - that is how hot it gets. I also like that it cleans up easily and is lightweight, so I can easily bring it outside to cook while storing it in the garage when not in use.

The Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Grill is something I have been wanting to buy for a while. Upon getting it and reading all Instructions, I washed the unit and tried it out on some chicken breasts. It did very well. It made great grill marks. Didn't taste like an outdoor grill but better than frying and baking. Taste was nice. I used bbq sauce, which actually was a little difficult to clean. My second attempt was burgers. Again, nice grill marks. Good flavor. Some smoke, but thats expected since hamburger is greasy. I again washed by hand. Cleaned rather easily. Here is my issue. The lid is not dishwasher safe, so you have to wash by hand. Which is fine. I dont run my dishwasher very often. The lid has a window on top. While washing the inside of the cover, around the window, the metal holding the window in place is very sharp and cut my finger open. I was not scrubbing hard, just ran my finger over the edge and it cut my finger. This is the only reason why I am giving a 4 star rating. If you purchase be careful with the cover.

Super product. Cooks well, easy to use in home or traveling. Cleaning is a breeze.

Perfect size for my Airstream Atlas camper van. I have gas cooktop inside but wanted an easy outdoor cooktop and opted for this electric so I don’t have to deal with gas hookup or tanks. I intend to cook for two but it could be stretched to cook for four, but would have to cook meat first, then veggies in separate batch as not big enough for all at once. Grates are heavy duty and I suspect it will retain heat well. Looks like it will clean up easily. Grates a close enough together where food should not fall through. The drip tray is plastic which makes it lightweight for camping. I tested it and it seems to work holding a low temperature which others complained about. I then cranked up to high and it was crackling when I hit it with a few drops of water. So far we’ve used the grill three times, and we love it! The plate is removable and non stick, so it was extremely easy to clean it cooked both sides perfectly . My husband likes the size. Four burgers will fit on it with no problems! Definitely recommend.

Writing this review because of the people who said it’s smokeless. I’ve used it twice now. (Burgers and a steak). Smokeless … That is not even close to the truth. I will not be using this in my house again because I had to open doors and windows (in winter) to clear the smoke out, even with my hood vent turned on high. Thought my smoke alarm was going to go off. My house smelled like grilled food for hours. My kitchen was like a dense fog. Outside of the smoke, it works good and is easy to clean. Love the extra large grease bin. And cooks great.

Grill Steak fantastic

Es como una parrilla eléctrica convencional realmente. Quise hacer un corte de rib eye de 1 pulgada de grueso y si los coció bien pero por ejemplo el gordito queda poco cocido y no lo hace chicharrón. Puse elotes amarillos y los tuve que sacar y meter a mi freidora de aire pues iba muy lento todo y eso que lo tenía en SEAR que es la temperatura más alta. No tiene sabor tipo asador (ahumado). Quizá sea buena opción para carnes delgadas y algunos vegetales pero no para una parrillada tradicional. Las salchichas quedaron crudas aunque por fuera parecían súper cocidas. Lo bueno es que no genera humo para nada y la limpieza es fácil. Si lo que buscas es una experiencia tipo asador con la venataja de ser dentro de casa así como lo anuncian, NO lo recomiendo.

Llegó en tiempo y forma , es más grande lo que pensé , pero está súper padre , es fácil de usar , trae un termómetro que te avisa cuando ya está la carne , y tiene una charola para que no se moje si la carne se escurre , se lo regale a mi mamá y está feliz con su parola , la carne queda súper suave !

this grille is amazing. it works well and is easy to use plus it is light weight. best of all it disassmbles in seconds into 4 parts for easy cleaning.
