Works with Pi5 AI module and NVME
I was skeptical if a single lane pcie would work with the pi5 ai kit module and my 1tb nvme. But it works. I am able to boot from nvme and use the ai module at the same time.

Dual NVME
If you need two NVME drives, this board works very well. I installed 2 nvme's and tested both for speed,here are the results using "dd" command.#"-NVME0 Write Test."#> dd if=/dev/zero of=/home/pinox/xnvme0/xtst bs=500M count=1 oflag=sync1+0 records in1+0 records out524288000 bytes (524 MB, 500 MiB) copied, 2.15291 s, 244 MB/s#"-NVME0 Read Test."#> dd if=/home/pinox/xnvme0/xtst of=/dev/null bs=500M count=1 oflag=sync1+0 records in1+0 records out524288000 bytes (524 MB, 500 MiB) copied, 0.339717 s, 1.5 GB/s.#"-NVME1 Write Test."#> dd if=/dev/zero of=/home/pinox/xnvme1/xtst bs=500M count=1 oflag=sync1+0 records in1+0 records out524288000 bytes (524 MB, 500 MiB) copied, 2.16044 s, 243 MB/s#"-NVME1 Read Test."#> dd if=/home/pinox/xnvme1/xtst of=/dev/null bs=500M count=1 oflag=sync1+0 records in1+0 records out524288000 bytes (524 MB, 500 MiB) copied, 0.414051 s, 1.3 GB/s#"-Copy NVME0 to NVME1 Test."#> dd if=/home/pinox/xnvme0/xtst of=/home/pinox/xnvme1/xtst0to0 bs=500M count=1 oflag=sync1+0 records in1+0 records out524288000 bytes (524 MB, 500 MiB) copied, 2.19423 s, 239 MB/sI hope this helps you in deciding if you want to buy this board.

Great extension for Pi 5
The PCIe to two M.2 slots HAT is a very nice extension for Raspberry Pi 5. It adds incredible versatility by supporting two M.2 NVMe SSDs, making it perfect for anyone looking to use their Pi 5 as a mini NAS. Installation is very easy and the build quality is excellent - solid and reliable. The read and write speeds are as expected - running at around 40-50MB/s, which is very good. The HAT is compatible with multiple M.2 sizes - 2230, 2242 and 2280 - which offers flexibility depending on your needs. The packaging is a small carton box, which keeps the HAT somewhat protected during transport, but maybe a sturdier box would be better, because mine came a bit squashed by other things in the same Amazon package. Overall - very good product.

Worked perfectly!
Both M.2 slots worked perfectly and still running great. Couldn't ask for a better HAT!Worked great on my Pi 5 8gb.

Dual-M.2 NVMe HAT
I'm looking forward to using this in my Raspberry Pi 5, which I'm still playing with as a beginner. Once I'm proficient, adding this M.2 HAT will significantly expand my Pi's file read/write and overall performance, as well as, of course, add additional storage capacity. It has a data rate of up to 5Gbps and a read/write speed of approximately 500 MB/s. This dual-channel HAT allows you to add two NVMe SSDs with sizes ranging between 2230 and 2280.From my initial inspection of this HAT, it appears to be a solid piece of kit, and it includes standoffs, cable and screws to connect it to the Raspberry Pi 5 easily. It seems like a very straightforward installation process.I will likely update this review once it runs to see if the numbers hold.
