Kenneth Cole New York Women's Belted Front-Zip Trench Coat with Detachable Hood

Much agree with other reviews, the look, functionality, and quality of the jacket is fantastic. It is a basic black trench that is weather resistant, includes a hood and zipper, and manages to provide a tapered shape where most other trenches fall flat.For a petite 5'4 woman, the XS jacket fit me perfectly and as expected both in the shoulders, the arm length, and jacket length. When reading other reviews I was concerned that this may run too small so I bought the XS and S, but was swimming in a S. I think the concern that it is tight in the shoulders or chest is something to be aware of if you are on the bustier side due to the zipper and tapered fit of this jacket.I have removed 1 star because the belt is a bit of an annoyance - it provides no functionality as a belt - using the belt buckle is not helpful as the length is too long, and it appears meant to be tied around the waist. But since the belt buckle is metal and not plastic, it is heavy and my knots often fall from the weight. A small defect in otherwise a great design. I may take the belt to my tailor to see what they can do in adjusting this.

It's a beautiful coat in a beautiful teal color. Unfortunately, it runs a bit small on top in my opinion. I'm a 10 top, 12 bottom, and ordered a large. In spite of my narrow shoulders, this coat fit snug through the shoulders. The remainder of the coat skimmed as it should. Although I was tempted, I chose not to keep the coat. I also knew that I would swim in an extra large.

My husband ordered this jacket for me 6 months ago. I wear it quite often and every time I do I get several compliments. The jacket fits as expected. The belt allows for the jacket to be worn more form fitting. The gold button details and the quilting makes the jacket stand out. I wear this jacket in the rain (with the cap attached) or on a slightly chilly day without the cap.

I liked the style of the coat but the shoulders were just too tight. I ordered up a size like others mentioned (normal size is Medium, but ordered a large). The problem was the body of the jacket was too large and the shoulders were too tight. Sadly, it went back.

Love this coat...it's beautiful and the perfect weight for chilly spring days & nights. Be aware, though, that it is not entirely waterproof. I wore it in a torrential downpour for about 15 -20 minutes and was drenched to the skin. BUT, there aren't many coats that would have kept dry in that storm.

Loved this coat ---I always wear a medium or small but this was too small for me.It would be very uncomfortable to drive a car in.I sent it back

Very stylish and pretty but it feels a little small for the size

Great color and design- The material is very stiff and plastic-like (unlike my other rain coat). Zipper look cheap.
