This product works well, picks up vehicles outside our building. The video quality is excellent. it connects to some pretty weak wifi with ease. It was easy to install and comes with everything you need. The battery seems to last a long time unless you're spending a lot of time talking to your kids and watching them make faces at you on live view! i sure do have enough close ups of my kids noses now!

I am changing my rating from the 3 stars and correcting my statement that is below this one. I have found great features in the ring app, one being the option to see where the battery life of the device is. I guess I missed this and I was never actually charging the doorbell all the way. Although this is odd because I would charge it for hours and put it back all for it to not be completely charged. I do however know there maybe other factors that contribute to this and may not be a reflection of the doorbell itself, but rather the charger i used or even the outlet. I have charged it up recently and the charge did great, it lasted about 3-4 weeks. This was when I found out I could check to see how much charge it had. I retract my previous statement because since finding this my doorbell has been operating as expected. I do recommend this product!! Also I want to thank Ring Customer Support who reached out to me numerous times to try to get me the support I needed. It is great to know they care about the integrity of their product and will stand by and assist you with whatever they can to ensure you're satisfied with their product, that in itself speaks volumes about this product to me!! *****previous review below****** can be disregarded! This is a great security camera. It worked so well when I purchased it, which was back in March of this year. Now it will not hold a charge. It seems like I have to charge it every couple of days where as before I didn't have to charge it for at least a couple of weeks. I'm a bit disappointed because I had to buy an Alexa + necessary accessories for this to work, so I spent over $180 on everything abs not even a year in I'm seeing negative changes. Has anyone else who purchased this see similar changes?

The Ring Battery Doorbell works very well overall and does exactly what it promises. The video quality is clear, even at night, and motion alerts are fast and reliable. I really like being able to see and talk to visitors from my phone, which adds an extra layer of security. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long, even without prior experience. Battery life is decent, but depending on how often motion is triggered, you may need to recharge it more frequently than expected. The only downside is that some advanced features require a subscription, which is something to consider. Other than that, it’s a great product and a solid choice for home security.

I've been using it for a month and it's been working very well. Now I can see who's at my door and communicate with them from anywhere I am. Initially, they give you a free one-month trial, after which you have to subscribe to access all the services. Even without a subscription, you can still access its main function, which is viewing and speaking through the camera.

Best thing I have bought myself in the longest while. Easy to set up. Connects easily to my wifi. Hold a charge for a very long time. The notification are welcomed not annoying. I know when my packages arrive or if some one is at my door. I do not have a peep hole nor view of who is at my door, this now provides me with an extra layer of security. I can see who is there. It picks up people and the surrounding view area well. Monthly fees for extra features is optional and reasonable.

I love these door bell cameras. The speaker quality is phenomenal! You can be heard outside as far away as 50 ft. Camera picks up movement very far! I do leave my porch light on at night for a higher quality picture/video/recording. It’s easy to put up, and remove when you need to charge the battery. I only have to recharge the battery about once a month! The plans that come with the Ring door bell are affordable if you want to continue having all the perks of saving videos for later. This was an awesome purchase.

Great product, works perfectly 95% of the time, slight delay in alerts sometimes but that's about it. Only have to charge in every two months or so which is terrific.

I already have one, bought it for a Xmas gift. video and audio quality is great on this model. Has a great field of view aswell as colour night vision. The Ring app has plenty of options to play around with also easy to use.
