The ease of using this product is amazing! After one or two tries, you really get the hang of it. And if you don’t get it perfect the first time, all you have to do it file it down. I have literally stopped going to the nail salon, because I can do my own nails at home for a fraction of the cost. I love all of the color options, and being able to fix a broken nail without going to a salon is fabulous! I have colors for all the holidays and occasions! If I know it’s going to be longer than two weeks before I am able to sit down and do a “full set”, I opt for a more neutral color, which makes the fill in process that much easier! Go ahead and get it! You won’t be disappointed.

Everything was included as advertised, though the pots of dip powder are quite small. This was my first attempt at doing my own acrylic nails using dip powder and it was super easy. The white dip powder is very much translucent and not white (just a heads up). For a newbie trying diy nails, it was super simple!

This was my first dip powder kit. First time I rushed and they looked terrible. Second got better but I needed to buff the nail tip connection better, add a line of clear where they met and use clear coffin tips cut shorter vs squared bc the end grows wider and saves a lot of time shaping. I did purchase a cheap nail filer and it helps. I watched several videos also. This pic is the third time, and it’s not perfect yet but I’m happy and think they will improve with practice. They didn’t chip or break after almost two weeks but they start to grow out and lift up a little bit at edge and catch on your hair. I soak them in acetone in a plastic bag with a paper towel and they come off fairly easily. My only complaint is the colors. I really wanted the black but there was no black in my kit. Most of the colors matched with numbers in the photo but a few were mislabeled and unfortunately for me it was the main ones I had got this kit for.

This was just as described and a great investment. I tried it first on myself and followed a you tube tutorial. They said to dip twice in the powder both times but it ended up a bit too thick. There is no need to get fancy. This works just as advertised. One main thing though- thoroughly prep your nails. Soak, use cuticle remover and push back, buff nail so it has a bit of texture (edges especially if your nails are more rounded) and dehydrate with polish remover. Also be sure to use the brush around and on the nail to remove excess powder before using the activator. If there is powder on your skin you may not see it but the activator will find it and mess with the seal on your nail. If you prep well and follow the simple instructions you’ll be golden! This was especially fun to use for my 10yr old daughter. Professional nails done and dry in just about 15min start to finish! Would be great for sleepover entertainment or a safe and sober booth at a HS. Have fun! (Pic is not on myself, one dip each time and it worked perfectly.)

Love the convenience and ease of nail dip powders, but the quality of these isn't all that great. I haven't been able to get a good look with the floral powder and I cant get any of them to even last a full week without cracking and chipping off.

I ordered this because I was excited about it lasting longer than a week. Well, 4 days in and it is chipping off and looks horrible. Pros- easy to apply, does not smell like nail polish and (while it lasts) is pretty Cons- lasts even shorter than regular nail polish & regular nail polish remover is not working to remove what is left of it. Update: warning- to remove what doesn’t chip off is extremely difficult and a pain. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I tried filing it off, but ended up having to chip the rest of it off. My mother tried this on her nails & it didn’t even last 2 days.

This was my first time using any sort of dip kit. Not too tough to figure out, and like anything it was a lot easier after a few times. Huge fan of how long it lasts! I got up to 2.5 weeks of wear before I picked it off out of boredom. However, there’s no color accuracy. I am so disappointed. What was labeled “black” is actually this weird dark gray/purple which doesn’t appear anywhere on the color reference sheet. It’s not black. And it’s not any other color in the kit either. And now I’m stuck with it, and without the color I would have used most.
